“What a gem! We were so excited to go back to Fairbanks and see the northern lights but a close second was going to mom’s again. We went three times during our 5 day stay this time and it never disappoints. All of the Asian selections are amazing, as are the burgers. I love the jalapeño poppers too, best I have ever had. It is inside a little sports bar but don’t let that fool you. This is some of the best food you will have, in any city. By the way mom’s staff… you should really consider selling that homemade soy sauce. Sooooooo amazing. God bless you guys and thank you.“
“I am trying out all the sushi restaurants in town. So far I didn't really have much good impression from others so I tried this place after reading some good reviews. I don't know.. maybe my expectation is too high. I am from a huge city where you can see excellent quality, yet affordable sushi places every corner of the street I really miss good sushi.. we ordered sushi and sashimi boat for 2 people, it looked amazing but taste wasn't as good. It's not bad but The way they age fish for sushi is just not my style.. not much flavor, not too fishy, but really not much flavor. After a few bites, I got pretty tired of it, couldn't eat more even tho there were all different kinds, it didn't taste different or flavorful.. even tho i'mm eating different kind, it tasted like same thing repeat, not satisfying for the price. People were super super friendly ,nice and polite so I feel bad that I'm leaving a negative review. My boyfriend who's from here liked it so I guess it's good for fairbanks quality. we'll come again to try other items :) cabbage salad, miso soup was great. Maybe I try rolls next time !!“
“Great staff, and calm decor. The food isn’t bad, but it isn’t the greatest either. Nevertheless, it’s my second time around here. Maybe I’m just picky with my sashimi? Some tasted a bit fishy and others were fresh. Would I come back for a third time? Yeah, for sure.“
“Good food had bulgogi kinda pricey 24.99 for beef and white rice and a small take out container with a side "salad" lettuce with four tiny stripes of carrot like come on it burger topping lettuce enough for like three or four burgersWheelchair accessibility: Lift is not properly maintained“
“Tucked away in Fairbanks, Alaska, is a modest Korean eatery offering a limited yet satisfying menu. Despite its small selection, the restaurant shines with its delicious bibimbap, served in traditional stone bowls. While the decor is simple, the focus is on delivering authentic Korean flavors rather than extravagant ambiance. Though not the most extensive or remarkable spot, it serves as a cozy retreat for those craving a taste of Korea in the Last Frontier.“
