“Had dinner there on April 18. Service was attentive, pizza was good. Both my wife and I got dinner salads which contained lots of lettuce that was old/brown. I would think that for $9.00 the salad would be larger and made with fresher ingredients. If I had known the price beforehand, I would have sent it back.“
“I’m recommending this place because they have great food. Service was a little slow both days but we have all been in customer service so we understood. Unfortunately the male taking orders complained about the fact that we wanted the door shut because we were cold. Now I understand how hot you get running food and taking orders. But under no circumstance do you complain about customers wanting the door shut so they can enjoy there food in comfort because it makes you uncomfortable. I’ve waitressed for years sir that was unprofessional and rude. Our party heard you repeatedly comment about how hot you were and how you wanted the door opened again. You even ran to open said door the minute we got up to leave. Shame on you for making your customers feel like they were an inconvenience especially when your customers are the ones that pay your bills.“
“The Irish would be proud of the potato’s at this place. Haha. They had the BEST baked potatoes in Alaska. Being usually all the potato’s in Alaska taste sweet but these tasted like the lower 48s not sweet. The inside flavors tasted delicious though.“
“We made a reservation per the website's instructions but arrived to find few people there as they are only open a few more days this season. Accordingly, we lucked out on heavily discounted end-of-season beer. We wanted to try something we couldn't have at home back in Kentucky so we chose caribou medallions. The server very accurately described them when we asked just to be sure we wanted to select them. Ordered medium rare, they were tender and juicy. Jusy the right portion size with delightfully seasoned fries and green beans. Unlike other reviews, we had zero complaints about the meal. The caribou was more expensive than other selections, but the menu offered a variety of selections and price points. We splurgedfl for the novelty of it. The view and interior design of the restaurant were extremely enjoyable.“
“We are visiting Alaska and found this gem. Rachel greeted us, and she was fantastic. The food was amazing, especially the homemade Hungarian mushroom soup. We definitely recommend this for a great meal. The Bloody Mary was excellent! Kudos to Rachel.“
“I would give this place 7-10 stars if I could!! This is my number one place to eat. I LOVE IT! Great service, great atmosphere and the food is top notch!!! I would eat here daily if I could. Ive eaten here 2-3 times a week at times. My favorite meal is the chicken fried chicken with pancakes and hash browns for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Only downfall is it is very very busy because it's the best. Sometimes you will have long wait times for a seat but 100% worth the wait every time.“
