We were out for a drive today, down from Anchorage. Just needed to get out and enjoy the sunshine. We stopped in here for lunch after seeing the reviews on yelp. I would take a picture of what we ordered, but it was so good that it's all gone! Their sandwiches are made with this amazing bread that has a denseness and a hint of garlic to it. Everyone was so nice. What a great place to enjoy lunch while admiring the view.

This review is only for an accommodation; not for the view or restaurant etc. It is specifically to give feedback to the owner. The 2 star means, could've done better. If I rented out a cabin, not a house for $450 per night, it should be in 5 star shape. I am embarrassed for you and being in the business of providing accommodations would think there is pride. If I owned this cabin, for the price of $450 per night, I would make sure everything is in tip top shape and that if the renters have a question it is answered by someone that doesn't respond with, "I don't know.". You need to train your people that, "I don't know" is not an acceptable answer. The documentation in the cabin is worthless. There are no instructions for the TV, no wifi code, no information on how to use the heater. The tub cannot be used for other than a shower because the plug does not work. I re-washed the pots and pans and the toaster was gross with crumbs on the floor. The cleaning job is surface cleaning at best. The windows are filthy as if someone took a rag and simply wiped across the window. It's not my job to tell you what doesn't work or what is missing. Clearly, whomever you have in here should be giving you the feedback. You think you can get by due to supply and demand, but this is about how things should be done and not just about what can be charged in AK. You ask in your little documentation to give you 5 stars because business depends on it. If you want 5 stars then you earn it by providing a 5 star accommodation and not 2 stars. I did not rent this for $450 per night because I came after tourist season, but no way I would pay that. We won't be back.

Everything about this place is magical for the sailor's soul... When I'm not working at sea, I love to come here and listen to the ocean and be nearby so I can keep an eye on her while stuck on land. This is our 4th time staying here this year, and the staff are always absolutely amazing!

Had some AMAZING espresso here. Followed by fish 'n' chips and rockfish tacos. Locally caught Cod for the fish 'n' chips was killer! And that's coming from a local ?

We did the full day fishing charter. One MILLION PERCENT recommend them! Captain Dustin was incredible and so was Quinn. We had a 6 person boat and were able to catch more than the 10 person charter! Dustin and Quinn communicated well, taught us a few things, were patient and helpful to our 14 year old and 9 year old. Not only do we highly recommend, but we ourselves will be back next year to do it again! Thank you all so much.

Pure fishing village atmosphere and smell (I don’t mind the scent, but if T hats not your thing this is not going to suit you). Came for breakfast but only had two items on the menu. Waited to have lunch instead. Very few seats inside, so pretty chilly sitting outside. The lunch menu is solid. Food is fair to

We did a salmon/rock fish charter with Millers landing. We caught a bunch of silvers and rock fish. The crew was wonderful and the boat was amazing. Would definitely come back for other tours

We were camping in Seward at the weekend husband suggested going for a coffee to Miller's Landing. I was amenable to this plan, as it's very pleasant there. The Office has a lounge area at the back, and there used to be pots of coffee for a donation, however now you can order latte espresso, etc, and there's a limited menu too. The scenery here is outstanding, and you can sit outside on the deck, and watch people go kayaking, or get ready for a fishing trip. We drank our drinks, and Blake had pointed out there was Waffle Fries Poutine on the menu. We hadn't planned on staying for lunch, however, as I am "The Potato Lady" and what's more, I have a severe weakness for Poutine, when he suggested a Poutine to share, i just could not refuse. It was so heavenly sitting in the sun, and being presented with a wondrous basket of Waffle Fries, in a pond of brown gravy, bejeweled with cheese curds and a goodly sprinkling of chopped parsley. And as a potato (and poutine) aficionado, i say with authority, that this Poutine was manna from heaven. The Waffle Fries were super crispy and golden, and because they were were Waffle Fries, there was more flat surface area to hold cheese curds and soak up the deliciously brown savoury gravy. Man, they were good! And the sights and sounds, and sunshine just enveloping us, made it a very nice Saturday morning. I would drive back to Seward just for this Poutine. Yes, i consider it that good.

My boyfriend and I took our dog to millers landing for the weekend and it was a blast! It was our pups 7th birthday and we wanted to make it special. We enjoyed the seaside cabin we stayed at and had pretty good weather. The cafe was nice and had great hot cocoa and snacks foods. Every worker we came in contact with was very sweet and had great attitudes. Upon reserving our stay, in the rules it includes that all dogs must be leashed at all times. I was happy to see this rule because though my dog loves humans, he isn't a fan of other dogs approaching him so we appreciate the leash law and always follow it ourselves. The reason this review is 3, rather than 5 is mainly because the leash rule was not being followed by a lot of the people at the campgrounds, cafe, and beach. I know there isn't employees everywhere to dictate what's going on, but there was patrons on the deck at the cafe and in the cafe with a bunch of dogs off leash that all ran up on my dog while we were walking him (on leash) in-front of the cafe on the beach (not anywhere near these dogs but they ran very far from their owner). This happened to us at least once every day we were there and we stayed for 3 nights total. It's very exhausting to have to constantly worry about another dog attacking mine while I'm following rules and others are not.Like I said, love the location and the stay was great, but please enforce your leash law a little better. Not everyone wants to be approached by unleashed animals.

This place is about perfect if you are looking for a funky non crowded place with a view. The food was as good as the view- we had the cod of course since it is from directly out front. Freash and wonderfully fried with a great ranch type tartar on the side. And lo and behold vegetarian peirogies! Also tasty and a bit of snap with some siracha topping. And the setting right on resurection bay- out of the way and worth it!
