It's got a very country music type feel (which, for the record, is about as far from my preference as you can get) but no one cares what you bring, as long as you are friendly and here to have fun. Not sure how many different bartenders they have, but the one that's been here the few times I've visited has been amazing. Nothing watered down. Just raw fun. If you like karaoke bars, Friday nights are a great time here!”

“This is my favorite for Japanese and Chinese food in the valley. Their dining room has a very warm, cozy cabin feel. Their sushi chefs are highly skilled and take great care with their work. They also have a wide range of drinks that pair well with the food. I recommend the plum sake, fruit soju, or a Sapporo beer. They also give you a warm bowl of comforting soup while you wait for entrée to arrive.”

“Oh my goodness! This place is an absolute gem! It is my favorite restaurant in Huntington! We have eaten here several times and I must say the service has been phenomenal. I must give a special thank you to Sarah! She made our dinner so special. It was my father’s 85th and her humor, professionalism, and artifice just made the experience that much sweeter. She is wonderful. Our food was fantastic. Steak Diane cooked perfectly, crab cakes are delicious, salmon is outstanding and the best in West Virginia, chicken alfredo was cooked perfectly and was not dry nor was it drowning in sauce. Brussels sprouts had an amazing flavor and so was our wedge salad. Of course my father is picky about fries and the ones here are outstanding. The bartender even came over to answer questions! Love the food and service.”

“Love the baked goods and have never been disappointed with the food! However, a quick word of caution if you are placing a large order: we ordered cookies for our wedding, and on the big day, we called the Wasilla location and were told they were ready. When we arrived, it turned out they weren't actually there, and we had to drive to their other location to pick them up. The staff offered no help in correcting the issue, making for a very frustrating mix-up on a wedding day. Just be sure to double-verify the exact pickup location if you have a major order.”

“I have been there 3 times, this evening was the last. The 1st time I ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious, fresh, the peanuts were in the middle, it was even got when I got home, 25 miles north of Willow. the 2nd, I ordered Pad Pug. it was good, not that many fresh veggies, but very tasty and fresh. Then there was today. I ordered Pad Thai again, to go as I always do. I calles the order in, it was ready in less than 10 minutes this time and it didn't feel warm. I got home and it was a dried out mess, nothing fresh. The container had a melted spot on a corner and the bottom of the container was a bright kind of orange, that happens when you put food that's in a styrofoam container in a microwave, it kind of cooks into it. There was no sauce, it was all soaked into the noodles and Styrofoam, and the noodles were dried out and chewy. The chicken was dry as was the shrimp. I was so looking forward to what I got the 1st time. Instead I got leftovers. I had been going to the Susitna Bar and Grill in Houston, but they closed for winter. For Thai, I'll just wait for them to re-open, I will never go to Pattaya again.”

The first time I went, I got the Colony Caramel Crunch. It was so good! The birch brittle was very similar to Werther’s candy.

We had to come back the next day to get their ice cream again! This time I sampled the Alaska Wildberry flavor, and I chose that one for my flavor. No regrets with that flavor either!

If we lived here, this would be our go-to for ice cream! Glad we were able to try it out before heading back home to Arizona!

Understandably, they limit samples to one per person when the line gets long, so just be aware of that when you go. Slower times, you can sample more than one.”

“I took my grandson here for a good steak dinner for his birthday.
We started in the Trouthouse and transferred to the Windbreak Lounge so I could have a glass of wine with dinner.
Effectively they are one and the same business. The staff were great!
The two buildings are connected. I'm not a bar person so I had not been over to the Windbreak side before. There is a large bar and diningroom playing fairly loud music.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming while a bit dark.
The food was excellent. I dug in quickly and then realized I should snap the picture.
My grandson enjoyed every bite of his medium rare steak dinner as did I.
Pretty extensive menu. Options for nearly everyone.”

I ordered a simple sandwich and this man crafted a cinematic experience. The bread? Warm. The vibes? Immaculate. The way he said “toasted?”… I felt that.

If this Subway ever closes I will not recover emotionally, financially, or spiritually.
