“It was my first visit here. I had a Pepsi and Combo #1 Chicken Teriyaki, jumbo prawn tempura, rice, and soup. It was very good. The prawns were large, and a few onion rings were added as a pleasant surprise. I'll be back again! Forgot to take photos of the meal before I devoured it.“
“5 Stars! I’ve been in Alaska for 4 months now and have driven by daily. Must confess, not having a “Benihana” look I hadn’t come in even though Japanese is on of my fav’s! Today I came in…so so amazing! Tempura cooked to perfection and the service was just as wonderful…this will be my new treat night destination.“
“This was my first time trying this restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't match the interior. It looks like it was recently renovated. I thought it was nice and basic. Service was good. This is not your typical chinese restaurant with a full plate of your choice of entree and side of rice in a bowl that you can share with whom your eating with. You are served with hot tea and water immediately. The presentation of the food looked high end and neatly placed on plates. The only reason I gave the food a 3 is because it lacks flavor, basically salt. The chicken was nicely breaded, but lacked taste. The only ingredient that adds taste is the sauce poured on top. The house soup is a resemblance to chicken noodle soup and could also use more flavor. The two foods that had flavor were the egg roll and fried rice.“
“My husband received a nice gift certificate to Basil Ginger. We made reservation for a party of 7 at 3:00pm for a family birthday party on a Saturday.The restaurant was busy but not backed up.The servers were so friendly and helpful.They didn't waste time standing around ,they were busy serving our meal in a timely manner..our glasses and cups were kept full.7 different meals all were enjoyed. Big servings and professionally pleasing to the eye. An extensive menu to fit anyone's pallet or eating requirements..gluten free. Vegan. Etc.Highly recommend by our party for relaxing tasteful dinning experience.They definitely go above and beyond .“
