“Been craving Dim Sum and was told this is the only spot in town. Menu is very limited and prices were steep for what we’re accustomed to. But as I just mentioned, only spot in town. We had multiple places we were eating at so we didn’t order too much. The bean curds were good but at almost $12, I’m not sure. The Har Gow were big and juicy. The spicy wontons were our favorite“

“Updated 2024.02.27. Finally was in Anchorage and able to visit the restaurant to check out this place for their dim sum on weekends only. It's a fairly small business with the father holding down the restaurant with help from family members to keep the business open.Look at their dim sum menu, check out their daily specials on the board, look at what's on display as you walk by the counter and take and make notes of what might be appealing.Try their chicken feet if you're willing to be out of your comfort zone. The flavors absorbed by the chicken feet and the effort required to eat this is worth the effort for me as I'm accustomed to this and the taste is worth it for the effort. It's mainly the gelatinous skin filled with the seasoning that makes it quite tasty.Sticky rice filled with bits of meat wrapped in lotus leaf and steamed as another tasty treat with lotus leaf parting it's taste into the sticky rice. Buy some extra to take home.Steamed Xiu mai were alright, but not exceptional. The beef balls were velvetized, making them much softer to eat than if they weren't.The steamed rice rolls with shrimp covered with a sweet soy sauce is best eaten immediately when it arrives at the table. The rice roll is still hot and delicately soft. The shrimp I thought was a bit overcooked as it was being a bit tough as being more delicately soft.Their flat rice noodles with gravy wasn't what I was expecting and didn't like it as much. They make another version which is dry which I would have wanted to taste instead. The baked Chinese BBQ pork rolls was another nice little treat with a flaky crust. The flakey Custard Tart was really nice, don't bother with the other version with a harder crust and sweeter filling. The fruit tart was also excellent, but the custard filling was sweeter than I care for.Don't be in a rush if you come here, be relaxed and allow yourself and them the time to fill out your order. This is a good place to get together with friends or family, sit, relax, chat, eat, enjoy your time and food together here.Come early so you won't be disappointed of running out of dim sum items on weekends.“

“Enjoyed a fantastic evening meal in this new(er) restaurant. Rickshaw opened as a food truck, but has settled into the old bagel shop in the Dover Center in Midtown Anchorage. It's a space where I think they'll be able to grow and do well! The atmosphere/setting is a little simple right now, but I'm sure that will continue to change as they really settle into the space. They've only been doing dinner service for a couple of weeks and the owner shared that they've been changing up the menu until they find the exact right combination of things. Everything we had was DELICIOUS: veggie tempura, beef curry roti, khao soi, ka prow, and a bowl of the tom yum. We'll be back for sure!Editing 2/20/24 - Slightly modified menu with new pricing was posted on the restaurant's Facebook page on 2/14. I recommend looking there or perhaps the website for the most current menu and pricing.“

“Egg Foo Young is close to my heart but not every place has it, not every place serves huge portions like this, and not every place serves it with American brown gravy. For those who enjoy this dish..one of the best I’ve ever had. For those who have never tried it, it is indeed an omelette with gravy on top served with rice. Nothing special about it but it’s nostalgic and delish for the ones that enjoy it. As mentioned before..portion is Huge! I’m not in anchorage much but this is my spot and this is my dish whenever I’m in town.“

“We went here for our daughter's birthday with a party of 12 and everybody loved the food. I have to say the food i ordered, the General tso's chicken platter, was amazing and their menu also has a enormous selection of sushi rolls to choose from. The service was great, the atmosphere was very "asian cuisine like". If I had to critique one thing I'd say that their miso soup was a little too salty but besides that... on point!Kid-friendliness: Out of a party of 12 nine of them were kids and everything surprisingly went pretty well ?“

“From starters - when walking in, you see a very beautiful fish tank filled with what I believe are Garibaldi fish! They are super cute and almost seem like they attempt to follow you! The seats are nice and cushiony and it's not very crowded! The food was delicious! We had the girlfriend roll, which we ate all of, and it filled us up quickly before even getting to our main meal! The wait time was a bit long, but it helped us regain some hunger for our main meal. The workers were very kind and didn't need us to repeat our menu orders and actually got it all correct! I highly recommend this place“
