Very, very good food & the staff is so friendly. We eat at Local Joe's often and have never had a bad meal. Love the onion rings & the BBQ is always delicious. The pimento cheese & homemade pork rinds are out of this world.
We've been many times now and always love it. We drive about 45 minutes regularly to go. The smoked chicken and smoked sausage are my favorites! But I've never had anything subpar. Can't wait to try the breakfast buffet.

I had a very pleasant surprize today. I was waiting on my meal and The Star Bangled Banner began to play…everyone stood an rendered the proper respect per edicate to the U.S. Flag hanging on the wall… it was like a breath of fresh air to see such unity that still exits in our great State… May God bless Joe’s Barbecue an the Great State if Alabama!
