The food is not that bad ,the only thing is the employees are not that good to explain the ingredients on the menu they don’t know what to say when you ask them questions

I think they have new Owners or at least new Management as of Feb. 2024.We love Vietnamese food, and would really like to see this restaurant make it.Unfortunately this time we walked in to a smoky atmosphere that was hard to breathe in - from burning way to much incense. Then we ordered the Vermacelli Pork bowl and Chicken bowl and fried Egg Rolls.Sadly, the Vermacelli was the instant and unpleasant kind, and the seasoning was way to hot.The fried Egg Rolls were cooked nicely but were just mush inside - likely frozen from a package.I sure hope they decide to offer desirable items, or they may not make it.We probably won't go back because it is the 3rd time we have gotten so-so food.

I don’t normally give bad reviews and don’t plan to start now. The ice water was cold and had plenty of ice. Our serving was a good kid.

Delicious pho that is perfect for a cold winter night. They are generous with their portions and very attentive. An underrated gem in this part of town!

Stopped in from out of town. What was served looked nothing like the menu represented. Wife’s dish was missing items from the description.Condiment bottles were gross. At least wipe them down.Appetizer can out after entrees.

Best Vietnamese food in Alabama. Highly recommend. Very clean. Good portions. Will be the only Vietnamese restaurant where we'll be eating.1/29/2023 Well, we had to go back. Yuong (a partner) was glad to see us and remembered us immediately when we walked in. We'd love their authentic Vietnamese "Phởod" {food ;) } and would love to eat there more often but we live about 40 minutes away. Had the Bun Ga Nuong this time, Excellent! There are a lot of items we'd like to try so we'll have to go back again and again.OH NO! NEW REVIEW 12/24 Had to change original review:I reviewed this restaurant probably a year ago. At that time it was wonderful, very authentic, fresh, just great (See Above.) I gave it 5 stars. We've gone back a couple of times since then but was disappointed.Recently Yuong wasn't there anymore. Don't know what happened to him, I MISS HIM! Yuong's personality was magnetic, sometimes we wanted to go back just to see him and his wife. The warm welcome was always there right as we walked through the door. We felt like we were home.Unfortunately the food is not as good as it used to be, It's not consistent. I asked a worker where Yuong was and all he said he doesn't work there anymore. I asked if his wife was still there doing the cooking and he said, No.Aha, that's what has happened to the quality. What a shame. My wife and I really really enjoyed eating there. It reminded us of eating in Houston's extremely large Asian district. Now we have to drive up to Huntsville. But still haven't found a Viet restaurant as good as when Yuong and his wife was there. We normally ordered their Bún Ga Nướng (lemongrass pork noodle bowl.) No more!Pho & Bun Bo "not so" OK anymore.

I reviewed this restaurant probably a year or 2 ago. At that time it was wonderful, very authentic, fresh, just great. I gave it 5 stars. Recently one of the owners wasn't there anymore. Don't know what happened to him, I MISS HIM! His name is Yung, at least I think this is how you spell it, all I know is that it's pronounced "young." Yung's personality is magnetic, sometimes we just wanted to go back to see him and his wife. The warm welcome was always there right when we walked through the door. We felt like we were home. Unfortunately the food is not as good as it used to be, It's not consistent. I asked a worker where Yung was and all he said he doesn't work there anymore. It reminded us of eating in Houston's extremely large Asian district. Now we have to drive up to Huntsville. But still haven't found a Viet restaurant as good as when Yung and his wife was there. We normally ordered their Bún Thịt Nướng (lemongrass pork noodle bowl.) Pho & Bun Bo "not so" OK anymore.
