“We stopped here for a quick lunch it wasn't our plan but we were pleasantly suprised! I had a cup of tomato basil soup and spinach and feta quiche, I could've gotten just the quiche as the portion was generous! Both items were tasty and the outdoor eating area was pleasant. We decided to buy a baguette, a macaron, and a lemon bar to take along with us since lunch was so enjoyable. The pistachio macaron was good and had a nice pistachio flavor. The lemon bar was huge and fantastic if you like lemon don't miss this treat! The baguette was delicious as well! We will definitely return on our next visit to Blacksburg!”

“I know today about 1 or so the staff was struggling with orders. Several of us were asked to pull up through the drive thru line. I just want to say that my chicken sandwiches were fresh hot and very good today. Be patient because in my case it paid off in some good food and a correct order.”

It looked like a work of art and was a true showstopper at the reception. Even better, it tasted just as amazing as it looked. Each tier was moist, flavorful, and had our guests raving. Kathy incorporated her much loved strawberry cake into one of the tiers and it was delicious!! Kathy was a joy to work with— professional, creative, and truly passionate about her craft. “I'm a 67-year-old disabled overweight male who doesn't walk very good. My wife loves to dance and has been going with a girlfriend and her son for a couple of years. I finally decided to go and just sit and watch. That didn't last long I couldn't just sit there and let everyone else have all the fun, no siree. I have to hold onto the railing and walk out then hold onto my wife to dance (if you want to call it that). The band is made up of some super nice guys who have been playing all of their lives. Everyone is there just to have a great night of fun. There are people there of all ages, including children. I have not met anyone there who isn't as friendly as they can be. I was made to feel at home and part of the large family of regulars the very first time I went. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves to dance or wants to just try to dance, singles, couples, families or anyone. No one criticizes your ability or inability to dance. There is no drinking of alcohol or smoking allowed. There are smoking porches for those who do smoke. Everyone is expected to act on their best behavior, including children. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. People who do not act in a responsible and polite manner, will be asked to leave. Loud and obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. Thus, it makes a very nice environment for good people to have some good clean fun. I want to thank the owners Jim and Pat who run the place for making such a place for good people to go without having to worry about drunks and loud hollering and cussing and carrying on. It is a wonderful family-oriented place to go for a night of good clean fun. There is a $6 charge, and it is well worth it. Open from 7pm to 10 pm on most Saturday nights. I just can't say enough good things about the place or the people there.”

“This great little restaurant is found in the smaller Alabama town of Oneonta, and what a gem it is! My wife and I were looking for a spot to have dinner before taking in a show our friend was performing in at the charming little historic theater downtown. The menu is large and a bit overwhelming, so I asked the waitress for her suggestions. Wow! The Hawaiian fajitas are killer! My wife had the fajita baked potato. It was a tremendous amount of food! The price was more than reasonable for a couple from Birmingham, Alabama. We enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day. If you like good Mexican at a great price, you'll love this restaurant!”

“Service is good and food is good my only complaint is there’s not enough sausage in the gravy. I travel for work a lot and a single gravy from jacks is often part of my breakfast wherever I go, most every one I go to there’s a chunk of sausage in almost every bite of biscuit I take. This has been my hometown jacks and I hate complaining as I’m sure there is some standard that is being upheld but I just find it slightly disappointing when I open the tray to find one or two tiny chunks of sausage compared to how it is at other locations.”
