“We drove an 1hr+ to get there from Pensacola, FL. I waited years to visit this restaurant and finally had the time to do so on vacation.I'm so very glad I had the opportunity to go. The ambience was eclectic and homey and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food... was outstanding! My husband and I had the hush puppies, steak fries, top sirloin, ribeye, chocolate butter cake and pecan cheesecake. The only thing I had out of that entire list that I thought could use some improvement was the hush puppies - but honestly my top sirloin entree was so delicious, I didn't mind!! My highest compliments to the chef! I hope we'll be able to come back again real soon.“

“I really like the taste of the catfish and popcorn shrimp from the all you can eat. The service is slow regardless of location and at times it’s hard to get refills. Although some go on and on over the coleslaw I find it too sweet. The greens were pretty good too. The gumbo is average but everyone makes it different.“

“My wife and I had the catfish, baked potato, and cole slaw with hush puppies this afternoon. It was fresh and delicious. My wife said the cole slaw was the best she’s ever had. Great and friendly service. Nice folks. Don’t be fooled by the outside.“
