This place has amazing pho and is definitely the best one in town! Chicken pho is amazing.

I had never tried pho before, but my roommate told me that it's an absolute must have. I live in the neighborhood right behind Pho 280 and decided I would stop by and see what the hype was about. I ordered the chicken pho to go. When I went in, all of the employees were wearing masks and following proper COVID guidelines. When I got home, I put all of the ingredients (packaged sepereately) together and wow was I impressed! It was hot, fresh, and definitely filled me up. I even had enough to put away for later. Pho 280 is definitely a new go to for me!!

Pho 280 was the only place open for our Asian craving on a Sunday night at 7:30 so we placed a pick up order and didn't know they closed at 8pm so thankfully we were nearby. Nothing seemed appetizing but their special vermicelli bowl so we opted for that. They don't have beef as an option, which I found to be very weird. Pickup was easy and it cost us $10.95 each for the special. Well, there was nothing special about it. The noodles were overcooked and some pieces of the pork were either really oxidized or spoiled. There was no taste it to it all and I can't really say I had a bad bowl of vermicelli ever -- until now. I couldn't even finish it. It was not good and I wouldn't go back for sure, which is disappointing.

Ordered on the app, was told 15min to get ready. Go to pick up, walk inside and told to wait in my vehicle and they would bring it out. Waited for almost 40min in my vehicle and had to go inside to get my food and speed up the process. Not a really big deal because I understand with Covid going on, they were busy with online orders. The food made up for the wait anyway. The food for me and my daughter was excellent!!!

It's another level of exotic and fresh food. The condiment is rich in Vietnam 's customs. it gives the palate, incomparable flavors that are not so easy to find around the corner

Hands down the best pho you will eat in Alabama!!! The customer service is superb and the jasmine tea is the best!!! My 3 year old begs to go and he typically refuses a lot of food. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

This spot has really good chargrill pork patty spring rolls. It is not easy to find and theirs was amazing! Their beef pho was also delicious. The broth was slightly sweet and savory. I like their lemongrass chilli oil. It added a nice herb flavor to my pho. I would definitely return to this restaurant when I'm in Birmingham

The first time I ate there it was excellent. The second time it was a big disappointment. The first time I got great service, the prices were very fair and the portions were big. The second time I ate there the service was lousy, the prices had gone way up , the portions had been cut in half and I left with barely enough to eat.

Food was very good. Waiter served the wrong drinks to me but they were at least tasty. Took 25 minutes for my husband’s saki to come out and we had to ask twice for it. They did give him a free beer for the error.Would eat there again.

Excellent and fresh food, I liked the character this spot has, and the workers were very kind. I will definitely visit here next time.

My absolutely FAVORITE dish is the Filet Pho with a side of rice. The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating. It's definitely the most delicious Pho you will experience anywhere :)

Solid Pho off 280.I am from So Cal. Pho is a staple. I have had it 100+ times. That being said, Pho 280 is solid pho. Especially, for being in the south. This place holds up. Good broth. Has fresh home cooked flavor. Noodles also good and decent portion size.Shrimp dumplings and egg rolls were also tasty.Real good service too.The price is a little high, but makes sense as there are not many places with this quality in the near vicinity.I will be back.

Yum! It was cold day, so I was craving pho. I frequent Saigon because I love their food, but my bf wanted something to drink and didn't want to go that night because they don't serve alcohol. We compromised on Pho 280 when we saw they have beer. I ordered a Thai iced tea. It was a little watered down, but as someone who doesn't like super sweet be beverages, it worked out well for me since there was a lot of condensed milk. Their rolls are good, but they aren't tightly packed, which makes them look larger. I really loved the meat in their pho. The servers were super nice and following COVID protocols. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be making more trips here!!

A very pleasant surprise! A little far to travel since they are WAY down 280, but their food is very well prepared. Lived their Pho and fried tofu appetizer. The Vegan pho is really great as well. Just added them to our go to list.

We had takeout pho with chicken, the original beef pho, tonkatso with pork belly, and shaking beef. We also got the Vietnamese egg rolls (3) and fried gyoza (4). Everything was delicious - we had takeout, and it was packaged perfectly. The broth was very hot, in separate containers from the meats and veggies and noodles. The flavor of the pho's and tonkatso was perfect - rich and hot and perfectly seasoned, with options for more spice. The shaking beef had a delicious rich brown sauce and the beef was tender and delicious. We hate that it's so far but it's the best pho in Birmingham, so we will be back.
