Culinary caravan! My wife & I grabbed dinner from The Current last night. The Current is Cahaba Brewing's permanent food truck & is located on their patio. The menu features burgers, wings & seasonal things. We ordered a couple dishes to try. We tried the Buffalo Wings which are citrus brined & made to order then tossed in house hot sauce & served with a side of herb ranch along with a side of House Beer Battered Onion Rings served with a side of comeback sauce. I got food from the current at cahaba food truck. The food is pretty pricey and the taste over all was meh. The sandwich I had was really great! I would give the sandwich an 8/10 but the fries with “garlic seasoning” were not it. I would give them a 2/10. They needed more salt and generally had no flavor at all. For the price I don’t think it was worth it. :(
