“Years ago, when I was a teenager, I worked at Durbin Farms Market. Since graduating, I’ve moved out of town and every time I come back to town, which isn’t often I visit Durban’s farms and eat. The last two times I’ve been the sandwiches and soups have been absolutely amazing. I am so happy to see this company continuing to thrive even years later! Keep up the good work!”

“The peach pecan ice cream and strawberry ice creams are divine and the buckeyes melt in your mouth. Divinity and Fudge taste like my great grandmother’s. So GOOD!!! Deli sandwiches are great as well. Quick, friendly service. It’s as if my car goes on auto pilot and can’t pass this place, coming or going. Highly recommend.”

“Best BBQ I've ever had. The sauce is amazing, the service is great, The food is amazing and very fair priced. I always get the pulled pork plate with 2 sides. ( only $9.99 ) The onion rings are big and taste amazing, and the beans are full of flavor. The sweet tea is amazing. 10 outta 10. Hands down best food I've had in a long time, absolutely amazing experience every time I go.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Clanton. Food is great and people are too. I don't like bell peppers in my food. I prefer jalapeños. Everyone puts bell but these people cook my food with jalapeños and do it with a smile. Also prices haven't skyrocketed like every where else. About the only place in town where you can feed 3 people and not have to stop for a loan on the way there. Keep up the great work.”

I had the Maddog burger, which, personally, just didn't do it for me. It was fine, just wasn't for me. First time here and I enjoyed the service, the atmosphere, the salad bar, the onion rings! I WILL be back again to try more food items! I won't knock it just cause I didn't personally like what I ordered, I'm sure plenty of others will! Ya don't hesitate to visit Maddog's!!! 5 paws!!!!”

“Brothers and sisters, let me testify. On the evening of 8pm sharp, I pulled my weary chariot off the highway and entered into the holiest of greasy spoons: the Waffle House of Clanton, Alabama. And I declare unto you—it was the Waffliest Waffle House I’ve ever Waffled in.

The moment I stepped through those doors, I was greeted by a young lady so sweet and respectful she could’ve been handing out hymnals at the door of a country church. I took my seat at the counter, and before me stood a young man, baptizing dishes in soapy water with the devotion of a monk illuminating scrolls.

The waffle? Golden as the streets of heaven.
The coffee? Strong enough to raise the dead.
The soda? Carbonated like the Spirit itself.

But then, brethren… came the grits. Oh, the grits. A bowl of plain, ordinary grits, and atop them, laid not a blend, not a melt, not even a sprinkle—but a single slice of American cheese, just flopped there like it had fainted in the Spirit. And I tell you, it was so glorious, so divine in its comedy, I had to stop and take a picture. Yes sir, I documented the miracle.

“Not only is EVERYTHING on the menu delicious, but also very healthy. The staff is always friendly and they offer "rewards cards" that you allow you a "freebie" after so many purchases.”

“Made an online order, but somehow, our BMT ended up with red vinaigrette dressing after I had only marked Extra Mayonnaise. I also ordered a Philly Steak and Cheese with a few extra toppings and Baja Chipotle sauce which I use on all my subs. All looked good, I submitted the order and as the order came back showing it had been sent (after quite some time on the phone waiting on it to accept), I noticed that the dressings were duplicated and incorrect. The order said it would be ready at 4:35 pm. I called several times, easily 10 times and got a recording that the nobody was available to take the call, so I had to pack up from work and hustle to the store to try and save the subs. Got there at 4:25 pm, subs were already made. Explained the situation to them (the mixture of the dressings on each sounded like something to sicken your stomach) and I had checked everything before I submitted the order. Also added that the phone number listed through Google and online as well as the web was not being answered. Younger male and younger female working. Very nice, very cordial, after explaining my situation, the remade our subs. I had to make the drive back home to Wetumpka with them and let me add that they were absolutely amazing. Best Subway subs we have had in a long time. We always order from the store on S 7th St as it is just up the road from my work. Thanks for saving our subs and providing an excellent dinner tonight!!”

“My Granddaughters Mom and I had car issues Aug 5 near Clanton and were waiting for it to be finished which took longer than we thot. I can’t say enough about the staff that day . They were kind, courteous , concerned for us and made the waiting period so much more tolerable ! Thank you so much! !! Plus there were areas Nicole could plug in for work. Nothing like Starbucks !”

“Stopped in on my way back from the casino unfortunately I didn’t do so hot there but I will tell you what was hot. The meal these amazing people were able to provide me once I got here! A fresh burger and some tasty fries and despite it being 11 pm at night they were very friendly and in good spirits. I wish I could have taken a picture of my burger but fortunately for me it’s already gone but trust me when I say the picture isn’t going to taste as good as a real one 😎”
