“Biggest complaint I have is that I ordered a side of bacon for my 5yr old grandchild, because he doesn't like biscuits and wanted some bacon for breakfast, thinking a side of bacon would be 2,3,4 pieces, like at other places, but what I got was ONE small, very thin piece of bacon, that was broke in half. I didn't order 1 piece of bacon, I ordered a side of bacon.“
“This is the best Jacks restaurant I’ve ever been to. Stopped this morning to get a steak biscuit, and both the biscuit and the steak were fresh cooked and delicious. The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. This Jacks also has truck parking, and there were many truckers there (which is always a good indication of good food).Parking: Plenty of car parking and a large parking lot for trucks.“
“This restaurant is not much to look at on the out side but don’t hesitate to go inside.A quaint little place, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful with the menu. They have plates with lots of vegetables that are fresh made, not from a can. The pinto beans are wonderful and fried okra was cooked to perfection.Definitely get the bacon cheese burger, fat juicy hamburger topped with tons of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. One thing I will do next time is ask to skip the mustard and ketchup when they bring it out, only because it is so big I had to cut it in half to eat it. FYI: Put your condiments on after it is halved. The Baby bakers are little whole potatoes that are deep fried and are delicious! Like little baked potatoes. With some ranch dressing they melt in your mouth.I had to try the chocolate pie. Just like my grandmother use to make with three inches of homemade meringue browned on the top. This is real chocolate pie, nothing instant about it. If you like chocolate don’t pass on dessert, get the pie.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff was over the top friendly, they even came out of the kitchen to visit. We will make the drive to eat here again.“
“I cannot give this a 5 star because of how cold it was in there. It was colder inside then it was outside. You cannot be a sit-down restaurant if you are going to freeze out your customers. The food was good. A bit pricey but good. The tea was not good.“
“Amazing food and service! This is a small walk up place with a couple of picnic tables but the smokie rich flavor of the barbecue was big. After I ate my sandwich I went and got a second one to take home. Wally the gentleman that served me was so sweet and came out to bring my food and change to the car because if was really cold out.I will definitely be back. Best service I have had for a long time.“
