Was eating here almost everyday. Spending at least $30 a day. Today my order was wrong and my fish was left out and so was my mother in laws yams. She went back to tell them and they wanted to argue that they weren't left out. I called back to talk to them about the catfish being left out, she wanted to argue she wasn't giving away food and I would have to pay for it after she charged me for an extra pork chop that I didn't order. Food was good. Portions got less and less. They messed up my order after eating there frequently. Never had a problem. Today I was apparently trying to steal catfish. She got the order wrong and refused to fix it. Will no longer eat there.. was spending$30 a day because they were close by. Not anymore. Was wondering why their customers were dwindling. Food is decent but that side of attitude made me nauseous. You can keep it.
Nah. This ain't Southland's. I realize it's literally not, but even as far as changing hands and being a restaurant commensurate with the old one, it's just not. The employees are all mad at the world and barely wanna talk to you or crack a smile. They don't even have a jalapeño cornbread option and the cornbread they had tasted like bland Bisquick mix.
