“Hands down! The best food & dessert we’ve had in a long time at All Steak!! My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce had just the right “heat” to it without be over the top & He likes it hot! Then he ordered a beef filet cooked medium! It was perfect. ? I chose the Chef special of scallops & succotash! It was really good. Our dessert was the bread pudding. Oh! My!! Simply delicious! I had to bring the half of it home, so I could enjoy it even more the next day!!!? & yes the Orange rolls with the real orange yest was superb!! I must add that Aiden our waitress was the best!! & we really enjoyed talking to Kelsey, General Manager, very friendly & makes sure your dining experience is top notch!!”

“We just went here for a couple of our kids’ birthdays and it was fantastic! This is our first time to Ninja, but we’ve been to many hibachi places in other states, and this is the best one I’ve ever had. I say that not only because of the food itself, but the service, and the speed. We’ve gone to fancy hibachi places where we waited an hour for them to come to cook our food, but Ninja was super quick! First soup/salad immediately after ordering and then immediately after that, our cook came to our table. Also, they had an amazing birthday celebration with drums and a song. Just a lot of fun! We all had a blast. And the food was fantastic!! We will definitely be back. Side note: we made a reservation on Easter Sunday. I don’t know what the crowd is normally like, but we were sat immediately.”

“I will never be able to thank Busy Bee for the years of service they provided to my mother Sheila. Matter of fact she mentioned going there during the last phone call I had with her. I honestly didn't know how often till I went through her bank statements lol. She lover the food and price but she loved the staff even more. The kindness they showed our family during the darkest days will always be the light that we needed the most. “I have to give Guthrie's in Cullman, AL major props. Long story short, I needed 100 chicken fingers FAST. The very nice, helpful girls at Guthrie's in Cullman, AL said they could have them ready in 30 minutes, which was cutting it close for my situation. They had them ready in about 20 minutes and I was able to get them to my event just in time to feed everyone. And they even gave me an extra finger to give my little dachshund that was with me. A huge THANK YOU to the amazing staff at this awesome location. Y'all made a blessing a much bigger blessing. Thank y'all so very, very much!!!!”

“Several months ago my son and I were shopping downtown Cullman. In one of the stores my son accidentally got hurt and we needed ice to help the swelling of his “boo boo”. We came across Frios and decided to go in and ask to see if we could get some ice. The gentleman was so friendly and gave us a bag of ice. The gentleman noticed that my son didn’t want me holding the bag of ice on his “boo boo” so the gentleman came over with a popsicle (on the house) to see if that would help calm him down. My son immediately calmed down and I couldn’t thank the gentleman enough. After starting to thank him I learned that this gentleman was the owner. The kindness and thoughtfulness that the owner showed when we weren’t even purchasing anything was amazing. Now every time we come to Cullman we ALWAYS stop by to get a popsicle. The popsicles are so good and the employees are always so kind!”

“Beer, music, entertainment and people were great. Atmosphere was festive with activities for adults , kids and dogs. Vendors were many. Lots of variety. Enjoyed the arts and crafty items. The HB shop had lots of authentic Oktoberfest items like hats, shirts, and lederhosen Some of the authentic food was disappointing. Gravy for jager schnitzel was soured. The schnitzel was the thinnest I have ever experienced. I believe a real German would be disappointed in the food. Sausages were good. Would love to see a bakery come in and make authentic breads. “Stopped by Flavors Bakery in Cullman and was greeted right as I walked in. They have a large selection of baked goods at fair prices, and when I asked if the offerings rotate, the staff explained that only their holiday items change seasonally. You can actually see the team preparing baked goods in the back, which adds a really nice touch and gives the whole place a warm, open feel.

I tried the orange roll and it was fantastic—soft, fresh, and full of flavor. They also offer coffee, with a clear menu posted up front. The shop itself is clean, bright, and well-kept, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The ability to see your pastries being made right behind the counter makes the experience even better.

“We come to Slims pretty often after church for the $1.99 kids meal deal. Today, they were SLAMMED! I would guess most everybody waited at least 20-30 minutes for food. The Slims team was incredible even in the chaos! They did table touches, apologized, gave accurate wait times for when food would be delivered. They were kind, courteous and even issued refunds for some guests who just wouldn’t be satisfied… despite having a plate of fresh and hot food in front of them. The team here is awesome. Sundays are crazy busy days for any restaurant, and at least here, the food is always worth the wait, and we know we’ll be treated well during the wait! ♥️”

“Decided on Luigi's this afternoon when an order we needed to pick up elsewhere would need a little final work. We had seen Luigi's a few times and wanted to visit. We were seated almost immediately by a server named Jayden at a spacious booth. As my wife currently cannot tolerate spicy food, we spoke with our server and selected what we thought was a non-spicy entree for my wife and Cajun Seafood for me. The entrees arrived quickly and it turned out that although the Cajun Seafood was perfect, the entree that arrived for my wife was too spicy. We called Jayden's attention to it and he helped her find a more suitable choice that was delicious.
It was refreshing to find a place with good food and service that is local and not some mega-chain. We will certainly be making this a regular stop.”

“Tonight was the sixth different night, me and my husband have attempted to eat a Chicken Salad Chick in Cullman. Over the past two months, all six times we have been, they are out of everything. Tonight, they only had three kinds of chicken salads let and stated they were out of numerous other items. Keep in mind that this was not the end of the night, but actually a few minutes before 6:00 pm., all six times have been before seven o'clock and various days of the week. I don't know if it is management or what, but the Cullman store needs some help. I hate to see a good resturant close because of poor management. When I asked how often this happened, I was told all the time. Common sense tells me if I always run out, maybe I should make more, but nowadays people don't have much common sense. I would love to know who to contact to discuss this problem, before the resturant is completely run into the ground.”

“I am so excited about the new cinnamon waffle, new to me that is. It is one of the best things on the menu and I never even knew it existed. I just ordered three and I’m so excited they look amazing. The staff was great. The store was very clean. The lady that took my order was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. She suggested trying a blueberry and cinnamon waffle!!!… that sounds amazing and I can’t wait. Also she said she sometimes has the peanut butter and blueberry waffle, and it is very good. “Los Cabos Mexican Grill in Cullman is one of those places that never disappoints. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal.
I ordered the Pollo Loco, and it was exactly what I was craving—tender, flavorful chicken with a great cheesy finish and just the right amount of seasoning. Everything tasted fresh, the portion was generous, and it came out hot and fast.
If you’re in Cullman and want a solid Mexican spot with good food and good people, Los Cabos is absolutely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Long time Carlton's customer here. I have been eating here for over 30 years. Their lassagna was always delicious as well as their pizza. However, I just ordered lassagna and so did my mother. Both of us had to send it back because it tasted terrible. After sending it back I ordered a pepperoni pizza ( a go to there) and it barely had any pepperoni on it. I really am sad about this but I am not sure we will EVER be back.”

“Cutting to the chase with highest recommendations: Moo shoo pork, bourbon chicken, hot & spicy shrimp, egg foo yong, and shrimp/beef/chicken/pork with garlic sauce, and the wontons with garlic sauce.

I have eaten literally every item at this place, including the chicken nuggets. When I was in high school, there was a restaurant in Tarrant that I would frequently visit and I had a copy of their menu that I would strike through, and get a different thing each time. I wanted to try doing that again, and finish off the menu of a Chinese place, so after I tried the sesame chicken there and figured it is a place that does things right (see below), Nothing that I have gotten here is bad, except the chicken nuggets (please don't go to a Chinese restaurant for chicken nuggets) and the two tofu dishes. The steamed health dishes were a lot better than I expected, having never gotten one before.

I have a standard for Chinese restaurants: if they don't do sesame chicken right, they won't do the rest right, so if I go to a place I may go to more than once, I will get sesame chicken first. There's two kinds, the syrupy gross kind, and the good kind. New China has the good kind. (One exception is Ming's Garden in Gardendale. They have terrible sesame chicken but great Mongolian beef).

By the way, there's a dish called Dragon & Phoenix that is a mix of General Tso Chicken and Hot & Spicy Shrimp in the same plate. Get one or the other, and don't get that dish, because the shrimp's sauce is thinner than chicken's sauce and will make it taste weird and watered down. Obviously I recommend the latter dish more or else I wouldn't have put it at the top.”
