I walked in and bought a pound of jumbo fried shrimp. The service was prompt and friendly. The shrimp were plump and tender, fried just right. My only complaint is that there was a very faint burnt taste in the batter on the shrimp, like the grease had been re-used a little too much, or perhaps the fryer had not been thoroughly cleaned lately. Not terrible, but enough to keep me from giving the food 5 stars. I was pleased overall and will go back.
This place did not disappoint. The jumbo shrimp meal and fish burger were delicious! Everything was so fresh and the portions were generous. The fried items were crisp and not greasy. We would definitely return and recommend.
