Mom's family restaurant is a perfect little breakfast place with a small-town feel. The chorizo omelet was fantastic, not greasy at all. The service was attentive, with quick coffee refills. While the French toast was a bit disappointing, the rest of the food was good. The menu offers a blend of southern favorites and lunch counter standards, all fresh and in huge portions. The staff is pleasant, although the crowded seating area can make it noisy during peak times.
