“The food was different but good. Unlike most places they had a wide variety of unique food choices. Just because the food was unique does not mean it was bad by any means. We tried many of the appetizers and a bunch of the drinks and everything was absolutely amazing.Vegetarian options: They labeled the menu well on what was vegetarian and there were plenty of options. If they didn’t have something, they made sure to tell us before bringing us something we didn’t want.“

“Ferus By the Bay is a fantastic restaurant in beautiful Fairhope, AL. Great food, cocktails, craft beer selection and service! We held a private event here for a welcome party for our daughter’s wedding and it was just perfect. Casual, comfortable, great atmosphere (beautiful outdoor deck seating and cornhole games on the front lawn!) food and drink—Kathy and Taylor made it fantastic for us to kick off a great weekend in Fairhope. It will be our regular spot to visit on our return to lovely Fairhope!“
“Stopped by for drinks and apps around 3pm. Seated outside under cover by the water. Waitress came and took drink orders. We had a lily pad and Jodi's mojito. Perfectly done, great tasting. We ordered the BBQ shrimp, grouper bites and a side salad . Food came and was well presented and delicious. Our server was observant and did a great job. She suggested dessert and went with the bread pudding with fresh whipped cream. Best I have ever had. Altogether, a wonderful experience. We will be back!“
“We sat outside with our 13yo, 5yo, & 4yo and got beignets and a smoothie. I was surprised about exceptional the smoothie that my 13yo ordered. Although they were very sweet with our kids, it’s not exactly geared towards kids. Service was good despite them being really busy.“

My son is a picky eater, but he also enjoyed it.Most of all, my husband forgot his wallet and one of the employees ran behind me into the parking lot to bring it to me. “I've been here twice to see a musician I enjoy, and both times I received amazing service from Audrey and Bridgette. I haven't tried the food yet, but the beer is ICE COLD and they even carry one of my favorite craft beers. Look forward to future visits!Parking: I use the cobblestone lot behind the building, where I noticed they have EV chargers. I don't have an EV so not sure the rates, but thought others might want to know they are there.“

The wife and I, typically sit at the bar, even though she does not drink, as we enjoy the comradery and conversations with fellow patrons and staff.Food - always good, and reasonably priced! Bartender(s) are always engaging, accurate and overall fun.Atmosphere - except as mentioned below, it is good! I get the whole, hometown bar vibe, with an add on restaurant.A couple of the times we have gone, there have been older kids playing in the bar area. I mean playing tag, shadow-boxing, etc., resulting in it being a little less enjoyable than normal.I want to be clear, the kids were not AT THE BAR, but at the tables next to the bar, not over in the "restaurant side" of the establishment.I feel for the staff, as I am sure their hands are completely tied in such a scenario.Despite that, we live close by, and should really stop in more often.“
“Little different vibe from most of the Moe's I have visited, but in a good way. Definitely more chill. The live outdoor music was good, probably the best I've ever heard in this type of setting. What's even better was that they weren't so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk at the table. Food was great; nachos were perfect and huge.“
