“I went to the Slim Chickens and have never had the problems I had today. Through the drive-thru I Ordered 6 items including the Mac and cheese bowl and 2 Strawberry shortcake Jars! The person at the window confirmed my order. When I got my order I received 2 Mac and cheeses and no Mac and cheese bowl! I didn’t check on the dessert jars! . Went into the restaurant to get the Mac and Cheese bowl corrected. Then got home and found that the 2 strawberry shortcake jars were not in the bag. I called once and was told to call back at 2 because they were busy. Called again at 2 asked to speak to the manager and was told again that they were busy! Was asked this time for my name and number and manager will return my call. Hoping I do get a call. I just want both strawberry desserts to be refunded. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant. As a customer my expectation is to receive what I ordered. Not to make not 1 but 2 errors! Thank you!“

“The food here is always hot, fresh and good. The employees are friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would have is for the owner or manager: While you have wonderful employees, the operation seems a little unorganized and chaotic (especially when it gets a little busy). Maybe review workflow and look at resource allocation.“

“Food was good but there was a long wait. Sadly I seemed to have been served faster than a couple of people who arrived and ordered prior to me.
Other than the wait, food was good and restaurant was busy. It was also rush hour and dinner time so I would expect some delays based on that but not any busier than other places I have eaten in.
If in the area again would eat there again to give another chance. Food was hot so was freshly made.“

“There is an outstanding employee at the store located on Darby Drive in Florence Alabama by the name of Grace who treats every customer with respect and being very polite. I have always really enjoyed picking up my pizzas when she is there!! My mother in-law had placed a pretty big order one time and was charged for two orders of hit wings by a different employee,who's shift ended and had left before she had received her order. When her order was done Grace was the one to give her pizzas,breath sticks and wings it was short by one order of the wings due to the fact that there wasn't anymore wings left to sell. Grace was told that she had paid for them and didn't receive them. My mother in-law showed her her receipt and she proceeded to tell her that there wasn't anymore wings available, however she offered to give a refund or to replace the item with another of bread sticks and or cheesy bread. My mother in-law said she would take the cheesy bread. Grace apologized for the inconvenience. We had to wait another 10 min on that to be ready so the pizzas would be getting a little cold waiting on that,and Grace already knew it would be so she gave my mother in-law a refund for the wings and a free cheesy bread and a 2 20oz drinks.
This is how customer service used to be years ago, employees putting the customers needs and wants first while respecting the guidelines and rules of the company at the same time. Grace is one of the main reasons that I am still a loyal customer. The food,not so much,sauce needs re evaluating along with the cook time for the bread sticks. Every time I have ever gotten bread sticks they are always doey and not very good. But just going to order a pizza and have Grace take my order is a pleasant experience. I highly recommend that she be a manager at this location,she truly deserves to be in that kind of a position.

“I’d give this location 6 stars for service if I could. I messed up and ordered a pizza for pickup from the Muscle Shoals store instead of this one. The young man that worked the window was kind enough to match the price for the pizza and called the Muscle Shoals store and had them refund my order. He did not have to do any of that, but he did.

That exemplifies customer service. The pizza was great as always and loved the fact they now offer a small pizza.

We will definitely re-visit this store simply because of the actions of this employee.“

“Shout out to Manager Amber for fixing a Door Dash order. Zaxbys was not at fault however my driver never showed up to pick up our food. Amber got in touch with them and got a driver assigned then remade our order, keeping us updated every step of the way!!! now that's what awesomeness looks like 🤜🤛🙌“
