“Dude, fuggin AMAZEBALLS!!! I've NEVER eaten at ANY mellow mushroom and this was a fantastic location to have my first experience. We got the Pacific Rim pizza and lemme tell you it was bomb diggity!! Great mellow, hippie atmosphere and employees to match! Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!“
“We ordered the Large "Robinson Island" Pizza with Sausage instead of chicken because they were out. The pizza was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, crust was perfect thickness and crispy! We also got the Manocotti with sausage on top and lasagna which both were wonderful! We picked up our order and the staff was super friendly despite being very busy! Mamma Mia's NEVER disappoints, but today was extra special! Happy New Year to you all. For you beach goers this spring and summer I will say this, take the time and make your two blocks behind main st in Foley and come hungry. Please tip well, be nice, and be patient. They have a wonderful covered outdoor seating are in the back and large selection on of canned/bottled craft beer (ask about their to go six pack special).“
“If you like country/comfort food, then this place would be a great fit. Me and my wife went and she got fried chicken, which it was nice and juicy. And I got salmon patties, which I have never seen a restaurant have on their menu before, and they were excellent. Their fried okra was fantastic. Their rolls(and yes, they actually do throw the rolls to you)were very good, but the apple butter set it off. Their portions size was hugh even down to their drink sizes they brought our drinks out in a cup that reminds you of the size of a buba. The atmosphere reminds you of Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is I wanted to try macaroni and fried potatoes, but I didn't have my plate when they came around and didn't again while we were there. Although you leave stuffed.“
“I go here often as I'm never disappointed. The food is always great, the service is quick, courteous, and efficient. The ladies are attentive and the value is spot on. The menu is Deep South perfection. Part of me wanted to give em a lower rating just to keep the crowds down.“
“My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day and had such a wonderful time. They did have a limited Valentine’s menu, but had so many great options. We got the calamari, which was SO GOOD. We also got the seafood pasta and it was to die for. The Alfredo sauce was absolutely delicious. We finished off with the creme brûlée and it was absolutely out of this world. I could tell they used real vanilla bean. One of the lady bartender’s took care of us and she was great! The atmosphere was great, drinks were strong, food was amazing, definitely recommend!“
“What a wonderful meal last night! The service was impeccable, the owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming- but let’s get to the food! I had probably the best ever Chilean Sea Bass prepared “chef” style that included a special Dill sauce that was absolutely harmonious to this dish! If you are ever down please give this place a try, it’s hard to get into sometimes and usually there’s a wait but the experience and the food are above and beyond! ??“
“I've been to this location twice, and it has been a pleasant experience each time. You get a good bit of food for the money. The only thing I'm critical of is their sausage patties. They aren't bad, but they are certainly not a traditional breakfast patty. They have an earthy flavor to them. Everything else was great!“
Coffee Shops • $
“This hidden place is a gem for sure. I’ve passed it by many times thinking it was simply a coffee shop. Wandering in the other day and was immensely surprised. Not only does it have a great many coffee drinks, but also breakfast, lunch and a ton of beach related items for sale. We opted for the daily special, the Parmesan meatball hoagie. It was delicious! The bread was lightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, so good. The meatballs had great flavor and there was lots of yummy cheese. It came with choice of side and chips. We chose the cucumber salad and it was definitely a good choice. I can’t wait to go back and it will be a difficult choice deciding to try something else! (Sorry we don’t have a better pic of the food but once we had that first bite it disappeared fast!)“
“The experience was worth it to go to! I would say the specialty ice creams look sooo good but they were SUPER sugary. We ended up taking them home and eating it over several days. The service was quick and the place was very clean!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the look but thought it was too sweet.“
“Warm, inviting, pleasant & sweet.They had cream puffs, oh sweet mercy.I do declare, I felt like Foley Al had a lil bit of New Orleans La, a done 'tumpt into the square (for non southerners, that means "infused with grace, left right where it is because that's where it belongs") with all the flare of a good southern mother who will be as gentle as your leave her to be unless you mess with her child/ren.This bakery is where good cakes and good cupcakes are delivered forthwith.I like that word, very military and southern...forthwith cupcakes!Sweet surrender; it is great for Bible study, a game day, a closing treat for a house signing, a way to meet new friends who are vacationing near you fortuitously, or because you woke up n you want to sunbath on a balcony with your coffee n Cake.Daughter agreed, lemon bars are also in that category, husband just walked past nodding with MY, MY cream puff...he took it like a king n walked off LIKE...?!!!MY chocolate confection, I procured...it was gone as he nodded and headed for the balcony ?? military operation "relief of cream puff" secured.Literally the last time he took a goodie was in New Orleans, he doesn't eat them often...a bite here or there not the whole thing ? I cannot even.Ok, well fine.I'll just have to buy more.Go on y'all, get you a lil something n call in the orders, we are vacation, n if you're not then act like it n put a smile on forthwith“
