“First time at this subway. The sandwich artist was great! She took pride in doing her job with excellence. This certainly stood out! I really enjoyed my foot long as it was very well made. I am assuming that was the owner running the cash register. He wasn't friendly. Kind of stone faced! Maybe it's just a cultural thing. The inside of the restaurant was clean and spacious enough to dine in if that's your desired preference. Four star review is really indicative of the service received by the sandwich artist! She was great!“
“Sammy’s is a True Old School Burger Joint! Sidney Bajjalieh and his mom and dad own and run this joint. His mom and dad are still at the flattop griddle flipping high quality hamburger meat with a line out of the door sometimes. When you approach the building and walk in it’s like watching an episode of That 70’s Show or any thing circa 1965 to 1985. “I wish I could have posted my Philly Cheesesteak with mushrooms, but I was so hungry I ate it so fast. Yummy! The owner is from Philly and knows what a Philly cheesesteak should look like, taste like, and the bread, soft and perfect. It is somewhat about the bread! So if you want to get a real Philly Cheesesteak, this is the first place I've found, and I'm from South of Tuscaloosa! Thank you for giving me back the taste of Philly Cheesesteaks it was wonderful.Parking: Metered parking but got pretty close.“
“Went in to grab a quick lunch and chose the Italian sub. Everything on it was fresh and the meat used was of good quality as well. It's nice to be able to get a sub and actually taste the individual ingredients instead of the usual bland mess thrown at us by most chains.“

I learned that she likes horses and would like to work in the field and she learned I like a subway club light mayo with jalapeño peppers. Pretty good swap I’d say. “My go to place for a good fast meal. The subs I get are just the way I want. The service is great. However, I am perplexed that the establishment is void of customers when I visit after work hours. Good for me on my way to an event at the BJCC or the not to far away high school.Parking: Parking is in rear of building away from the front entrance.“

“Firehouse seems to be pretty consistent from my experience but this staff was great!! It was a young high school student appeared to be in charge and she was fantastic! So mature and way beyond her years in professionalism. I was super impressed. Food was really good. Restaurant was clean. Impressed for sure!!“
