Quaint little restaurant out in the country with a parking lot that is constantly full but when you get inside you will find some of the best comfort food around. The fried fish on Friday is delicious. Everyday look for meatloaf that is like your mamma use to make, chicken fingers, BBQ ribs, all cooked to perfection and hot. Home cooked and just like mom and granny made. Nice people. Great beans and peas. Wonderful desserts and delicious entrees. Everything was fresh and hot or fresh and cold just as it should be.Priced right for family budgets. They were busy when we were there but they kept everything filled and ready.We will be back soon. Our grand daughter is due this week and we will be back soon and often.

We went here on Thanksgiving and waited 3 1/2 hours for a table. But it was so WORTH it!! We met some very nice people in the parking lot,we all just sat and chatted. The owner kept us informed,and we were worried since they closed at 3 we wouldn't be able to eat,since it was almost 2 by the time we got a table. But the owner said,yall are gonna eat,were still cooking! The food was excellent, for them to be so busy,it wasn't loud or chaotic on the inside,it was calm and controlled....read full review
