“we went into Guthrie's today and had to ask them to wipe a table. They wiped 1 table for us and didn't bother to wipe the rest of the dirty tables. When we got our food it seemed fresh with hot fries. I took a bite of the chicken and it was so SALTY I could not eat it. Glad I got a box so I could eat the slaw and bread with my fries. Wish the owner would reach out. It was by far the worst experience I ever had there. I had to take my chicken home for the outside dog bc I wouldn't even feed it to my house dog.“
“This is a Great Place to eat out and not break the bank doing it. My family and I ate here tonight for less $54 for 4 people. The food is Always Delicious and the waitresses are great too. We had Whitney tonight and she did an A+ Job, very sweet and helpful and kelp our tea glasses filled. We will be asking for her again. No matter if it’s catfish, chicken, steaks, BBQ etc you will not be disappointed here. Thank You Rising Smoke for a great Dinner! ❤️“
“I went to 13 Grill on a recommendation from locals in Haleyville and my family. They like to go almost every weekend, and I decided to try it today. I was pleased with my experience there. This is a great place to try out if you like a small-town diner with a family feel. Our waitress was so kind and treated us as family. I got their cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. The food came out pretty quickly and the food was also tasty. As for Covid-19 precautions, the employees do not wear masks but the tables are evenly spaced out so you do not feel crowded. One could also order pickup if that would make one feel better but they do not do delivery. You are also allowed to seat yourself wherever you like which I like. The service was great and our meal was decently priced. For two people, it was only $20 which is a great deal in my book. I will definitely be back!“
“Great little restaurant located in downtown Haleyville. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and plate. Both very good. Husband also ordered a cherry cream pie—excellent, homemade by the owners. Our two lunches, one drink and a dessert only cost twelve dollars and some change. We will be back.“
