This was literally some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. So cheesy! And very authentic. Way better than any chain you could go to.

Average service. Below average pizza. Waited 25 minutes for 1 piece of pizza. Won't be back

I had it today for the first time and it was AWFUL. The Alfredo had a weird taste like it was overly garlicky and some else was awful too. Idk what happened between last year and now but it’s terrible ?

I will start by saying the one positive- the pizza was tasty. With that said- $46 for one large pizza with 2 items (sausage and black olives) is an absolute rip off. We also ordered anchovies on the side- paid for them- but did not recieve them. Thinking we were double charged in error- we called the store. We were told that the pizza was a cheese pizza and each item was added (sausage $5.99 I believe). They advertise a large meat lovers pizza for $23.99 with a ton more ingredients. Plus they charge an outlandish delivery fee they don't tell you about. I get it that things are more expensive now- but this was a total ripoff. We will never order from them again.

Hung out in Birmingham a couple days and tried a few of their eateries. I picked Alfredo's because they had Slice delivery, they were close, and dine-in was a good option for us. Of course I checked the Yelp reviews and no red flags because there were 3's, 4's and 5's. The place was empty at 4pm on a Monday so no wait, always good. The young lady that took our order at the counter was very pleasant and took our order, delivered it to our table and refilled our drinks, very nice. However, the food, and mean all of it was very disappointing. I pre-ordered a big Sicilian Florentine White Pizza to go, then sampled a slice of Hawaiian, and some garlic knots as an appetizer. Since we had a pizza to go for later we ordered the spaghetti & meatballs and lasagna. The spaghetti & meatballs and lasagna were incredibly bland, couldn't eat it, the garlic knots were only missing one ingredient, garlic, yeah very sad. As for the Hawaiian pizza slice, the ham was tasteless and the pineapple was little chunks out of can that were uncooked and actually cold. This was an anti-Italian Neal with no redeeming qualities, very sad indeed. The Sicilian Florentine White Pizza was not as inedible as the "Italian" selections but it was pretty disappointing, I mean I love a good Sicilian but this wasn't it. I'm not going to list any other features or menu choices here because, well just no. I hate to drop a 1 star on any local joint but it is unfortunately my honest overall opinion. One or two misfires and I'm looking for excuses, but everything was subpar so it's a 1. Bottom line: In retrospect, and trying to get the multi-star Yelp ratings, I peaked at Google reviews and there's a lot of 1's. Hope they pay attention and make it better.

pizza did not taste like pizza, had no sauce and tasted like the box it came in. barely even had the toppings. salad was so small i thought they forgot it when handing me my things. lady at counter was eating and licking her hands before getting our order packed up.. in the middle of a pandemic. salad also was mostly made up if iceberg lettuce. disappointing to say the least.

We decided to dine in…. Big mistake. Dining space is old and nasty. Christmas decorations in the windows. A lot of junk displayed everywhere. My husband paid $16 bucks for lasagna to get a child’s portion. No sides except a roll. Really disappointing.

*** THIS PLACE IS FREAKING DISGUSTING *** I'm not sure what happened to this place. I think it's changed ownership - and for the worse. I hadn't been in there in several years and it was fairly good back then. But, I should have know when I walked in today and noticed the lobby booths had been taken out and now it was some kind of makeshift dollar store....weird. We got Chicken Parm and a Large "Caesar Salad". We opened up the "Caesar Salad and it was just Iceberg lettuce and big chunks of white onion and clumps of paremsean or some type of grated cheese stuff. The "garlic rolls" were nothing like they used to be. They were just frozen Sister Shubert type rolls.....and no trace of garlic or butter...zero taste. The Chicken Parm tasted like a frozen dinner from the grocery store that had been microwaved and the sauce (what little there was) was a thick mess...kind of like a paste really. A once decent place has been ruined ....we will never be back and will strongly discourange anyone else from going here.

Ordered a side salad with no tomato. Got a side salad with only tomato - tiny tiny lettuce salad for $5. Ordered a Cesar side salad with extra parm and onions. Got lettuce, parm and onions - tiny tiny salad for $8. Ordered a Sicilian crust, their version of a white pizza, with added sausage. Looked delicious but very disappointing. If you order this style crust make sure you order sauce. Oil and drops of ricotta make a super dry and boring pizza. Also ordered a side of meatballs with no sauce- got meatballs in sauce.

Hurts my heart to give them 1 star, but my recent order was disgusting. I ordered a meatball sub. The meatballs were mushy with no seasoning. The pasta plate was salty and one of the rolls were rock hard. I ordered a slice of pizza and it tasted like school cafeteria pizza. This is way below what the food used to be.

If I could give them no stars, I would, but there wasn’t an option. The first time I came to order the chicken Alfredo, I was halfway through the dish and there was a long piece of hair in it.?. The second time coming after a long time coming, I decided to try them out and give them a second chance to redeem themselves. But was let down. After ordering the chicken Alfredo again, I looked through it to make sure there was Nonthing in it (like the 1st time) and to my dismay, there was a roach in my food. Glad that I didn’t take a bite and followed my gut instinct. I am utterly disgusted with their food. I am satisfied with my money return. But will never be returning, due to poor hygiene in cooking habits. ??

Good food but the odd gift shop shelves hurt the brand. Prices are a little on the high side and the thrift store look doesn't help with that.

Outside of presentation, the food was great

My sister and I have come for the Italian combo for several years. This time, our highly anticipated meal was disappointing. Every element of the sandwich had problems. The bread, which is normally delicious, was seriously over baked. There was very little actual meat on the sandwich. The Italian sauce was almost non existent, and the lettuce/tomato/onion was too chunky and not diced like usual. Also, it was iceberg lettuce which was flavorless on a fairly flavorless sandwich. We call the sauce with the diced veggies “Italian salsa” and we usually love it. What has happened? We paid $13 dollars each for the combo and not even the fries were edible as they were all hard, dark and over cooked as well. It was so disappointing after we drove from north of Bham to come get this food. Please get that sandwich back to its former glory. The man at the counter was very nice… I think that’s worth saying. ?

It’s NOT worth the $45. The fry’s were nasty with no seasoning and worst of all they were soggy. When you say small salad you mean extra small. Another thing is you saw it was being delivered to a hotel and yet no forks or plates! I guess we are to eat like cave men.
