This seems to be an older hotel that has had a major renovation. However, lots of black dust in vents. Layout is very confusing. Beds are uncomfortable. This hotel was recommended by Samford for our visit…it could be cleaner and offer better breakfast options.
Because of some TripAdvisor reviews I didn’t have great expectations but stayed here anyway because it was where some colleagues were staying so it would be easiest to coordinate. The reports about the layout of the property being awkward were accurate and I am grateful to the reviewers who advised parking in the back because that is where the only elevator is located. Always check the sheets! Mine were soiled with drops of blood. The hotel is not very clean. The room appeared clean at first glance but when I pulled back the covers the putter cover duvet had blood stains. My room was changed but the second room was not better. Stay at the risk of dirty sheets, musky carpet and curtains, dirty vents, and stained bathroom walls.
