“Just so-so BBQ. Maybe I was expecting more, but I felt a little let down, restaurant had more a a fast food feel than a barbaque house.The brisket tasted more like baked than smoked and the french fries were greasy, but the Onion Rings were perfect.“

“What a great country Cafe for breakfeast or brunch! They have a lot to choose from. Parking (plenty of spaces), however, can be tough due to their location and popularity...so get there early. All the staff is super courteous! A++++ and will return next time I'm in town on travel.“

“If you have not yet tried Big John’s catfish, Fried Pablo’s pickles or classic bbq sandwich let me share why you should… This catfish is like no other, moist and tender inside and perfectly crispy outside! And the flavor!!! Seriously perfect!! The Pablo’s fried pickles are a perfect compliment, sweet and spicy deliciousness!!! And the outdoor (or indoor) dining rounds out an amazing dinner and evening! “I wish i could give this place 100 stars. Very unassuming location but let me tell you.. outstanding in every possible way. Delicious food, amazing value, great people, and welcoming atmosphere. This is a gem just like the people who visit this location i got greeted even by the customers. Theyve streamlined the service and everyone behind the counter is amazing. I had the fried chicken- crispy yet juicy and tender and the portions are not for the weak. The mac was amazing the candied yams will be callin me in my dreams! The greens were tender but not mushy still had a bite and flavorful to the max! Get the corn bread and please do your taste buds a favor and go with the red velvet! (The sweet potato pie was recommended by a young lady behind the counter and i got it on my first visit she was right it was amazing as well) theres a special mix for the drinks that was out of this world so was the sweet tea . I will come back to this place everytime im in town.“

“This was my first time here people were really nice it’s a cute little place good variety of sandwiches and breads salads the only complaint I have is the bacon in my BLT was really tough and fatty had to actually take it out of the sandwich in order to eat it the strawberry pretzel salad was really good an diy is a little expensive I got a bit pretzel salad chips and a water and it was almost 16 dollars I will be back tho and try something else“

“We sat outside and enjoyed a really good brunch of avocado toast, green tomatoes with pimento cheese, impossible and regular burgers and salmon bowls. All delicious. Service was good ( although the waitstaff were overheard at the bar which had customers seated there complaining about elderly customers and how they made their jobs difficult with the manner in which they ordered food.) That was a bit off-putting as such conversations shouldn't take place in that location. Anyway, overall I would go there even though the waitstaff didn't particularly like the customers. The outside option was great!“

“I can't say enough good things about my experience at the food truck venue yesterday! The size of the hand cut steak was no less than ginormous! In fact the portions where so large I'm eating the left over half while I'm writing this.I ordered a ribeye with loaded fries and a loaded steak salad for my wife. While waiting I watched as a gentleman was cutting steaks inside the truck...DUDE! That couldn't be the size of the steaks their serving?!....out of a food truck?! Many restaurants don't serve cuts that thick! Sure enough it was and was cooked perfectly. My wife raved about the HUGE steak salad she got as well! It came to about 40 total and of course I try to tip well but we have spent more and got a lot less at many restaurants.The only thing I would change but I'm not sure how would be the plates. Styrofoam doesn't work well against a huge sizzling hot steak lolI will be making it a point to visit these guys and will recommend anyone wanting a great meal any time I can!“

“My 1st time, it was good. Wasn't expecting the slaw to be cold on the slaw dog. The bread was stale, but nothing 20 seconds in the microwave couldn't help. After heating it up, I stopped eating my loaded potato to eat it. The potato was very good, I had to save it for later, and it was even better! Will definitely be back!!“

“The Winchester Road location is wonderful! I love the chicken potato, and it is always made perfectly. The staff is so friendly! It is refreshing because most places have terrible customer service these days. You can tell everyone enjoys their job!“

“This chain is one of my favorite places to eat in Town. This was one of the subpar ones but only compared to some of the others I have eaten at. The food was still good just not great which is sad for the price. I would try another one in town since they are better in my experience.“

“My family and I went to Jim N Nick's for lunch Saturday. We had a party of 11 and had no problem being seated promptly. Our server was awesome and even put a meal together for my picky 2 year old. We hadn't eaten there in awhile so we order all the appetizers before dinner. Everything was delicious (especially the onion rings) Even with a large party our food came out timely and everything was hot. We'll definitely be returning.“

“The Large BBQ sandwich is actually a Large, unlike most places! The fries are great too! I get them "extra crispy". The Pies are also on point. The Chocolate and Coconut Crème are wonderful. They also have a very good hamburger/cheeseburger. One of the best in town in my opinion. I haven't tried their wings, but I wouldn't be afraid to try them. They make good stuff!“
