“We were seated at 5:30pm with no wait, atmosphere was relaxing and the restaurant was clean. Our server was pleasant and timely. We ordered the rosemary chicken and the chicken in dressing. Food was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. After 4 days of dinner disappointments at other restaurants. I would definitely recommend starting here. We were not disappointed.“

“A friend and I are road-tripping through the south eating BBQ. This is the first white sauce place we've been to, and it was hands-down some of the best BBQ we've ever had.
The pulled pork is juicy, tart, and pairs well with the sweet sauce. The chicken's moist, but, damn, that white sauce makes the chicken really something special.
The white sauce itself is fantastic. It strikes the right balance between vinegar tart, cream, and pepper. I couldn't believe how good it is.
Lastly, the service crew were friendly, sweet, and showed us great hospitality. They cared about making a good impression!

“The food is very delicious! Flavored good and very tender. Big John's BBQ is hands down the best in customer service. The staff is nice as well. when they 1st opened one item was missing. The owner brought the item to my home! He didn't have to do that but he did. Big John BBQ is the best!“

“Was not very happy about my chicken salad sandwich. Both bread and chicken salad were very dry. Very hard to eat with out having to take a drink with every bite. Flavor was OK. Might try it again, but will look at chicken salad before ordering to see how dry it is.“

“We were in town to visit the WW2 veterans museum which is wonderful. We picked the brain of local vet and he suggested Rolo’s. We were not disappointed. The food was great! It was hot and tasty and service was top notch. Only complaint was it was busy and not enough tables. This is because they’re so popular and the place was packed. It’s a good sign when it’s packed and the food and service is still good. I’d definitely recommend.“

“Just found this place because of an article about its BBQ being the best in the state and they weren't kidding. Their BBQ is phenomenal. The staff were extremely helpful and polite & They put some SUGAR in there sweet tea! Will be a regular here.
