“First time visiting and the customer service was phenomenal! Grilled tenders were seasoned well and juicy. The Mac n cheese was delicious. I wasn’t very fond of the baked beans and I wish the peach cobbler had more bread. Overall, I would visit again.“
“Food and frozen custard is all good. Delightful servers and plenty of smiles among the hard working personnel. Manager is a little guy with a huge personality and he knocks himself out to make everyone feel happy they came. Salads, fries, custard are all exceptionally good.“
“This was our first time at J Wings….but it will NOT be our last! The next time we come through Birmingham, we will definitely stop by!We had lemon pepper wings, Philly cheesesteak, fried green tomatoes, cheese fries, and the pork chop plate. J Wings did not disappoint! Everything was fresh & seasoned perfectly. The sweet tea was good as well!Great food & great service! The owner was pretty cool too. ? Keep up the great work!“
“We'll start with the food... I had the 2 catfish fillets with fries and Mac and cheese and added 3 whole, lemon pepper wings. The catfish was fried great and the batter was on point. Not a ton of seasoning but I dipped it in their comeback sauce and it was a good compliment. The chicken was my favorite! The skin was super crispy and it was seasoned well! The Mac and cheese tasted homemade, it gets an 8/10 and there was nothing special about the fries. My wife had the tenders which had a sweet taste to them and they were phenomenal. They would pair well with the waffles which were also good and prepared perfectly, very light and fluffy. The establishment isn't bad. A little tight so not idea for big crowds. They were out of drink selections and we were never updated about our order. I did realize they make everything fresh but just kindly letting us know they are still working on it would have been nice. It was 7 of us and my total came to $127, but the portions were good so I'm ok with the price. I would give a 5 if the fries were seasoned, Mac and cheese had a bit more seasoning, fish was seasoned a bit more and the establishment was a bit more inviting. Maybe offering some "out-of-the- box" selections since everything is made to order. We'll definitely go back if we visit Birmingham! ??“
“I live about an hour away from the Birmingham Alabama location and I could drive there every single day and get some food as it is some of the best food I've ever eaten! I don't know if anyone will read this but my only piece of advice would be to put one in Jacksonville Alabama near JSU. I think business would boom!!“
“First time eating here. The food was good. Kind of like Hattie B's hot chicken. The wings were good. The fries were good. Service was a little slow. It took us like 20 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered until they put it on the table. The restaurant was clean and the employees were nice. I would absolutely go back again and recommend you try it yourself.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible ?“
“This Zaxby's location was a unique experience! It is one of the new business models where there is not an indoor seating area. In other words, it is drive-thru or take-out only. Despite this, there were indoor bathrooms and you were able to order inside. Everything inside felt very new and very clean. Also, outside, they had four tables available for outdoor seating. Regarding service, I was quickly greeted and had my order taken ASAP. I then had my food in hand within just a few minutes (much faster than the usual Zaxby's wait time). Lastly, the food was hot, fresh, and on the higher end of Zaxby's quality. Overall, this is a great place for a quick bite to eat (as long as you don't plan on eating in)!“
“What a joy this place is! Food is absolutely delicious, I love the Fancy Nancy with a side of potato soup or grape salad. The vibe is very cheerful and upbeat and the cookies are a wonderful sweet treat at the end of the meal. Will continue to come back.“
“I have seen this restaurant in passing, but haven't stopped to try it. My coworkers mentioned it during a shift, so we ordered it for dinner. I've only had Indian food a couple of times prior, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Their menu is quite broad, and there was a variety of vegetarian options so deciding on just one entree was difficult. It was close to UAB/ Childen's Hospital, so the walk there was short. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and greeted upon arrival. It was clean, and there was hand sanitizer available. The food smelled good. I ordered the Aloo Gobi(mild), and Garlic naan. The dish was filled to brim, and was enough for multiple meals, or people. The flavor was good, and everything was perfect. It was delicious. It did have more of a kick than I was expecting for mild, but overall it was good. Definitely will be trying again.“
“The fries smelled like old oil and were burnt. The toast was under cooked and oily. The chicken fingers and sauce were very good. The young lady at the window was pleasant and helped me with my order. This is the first time I was not pleased with my order.“
“The food was fine. I decided to go because I hadn't been in a while. The only issue was that I ordered a melt, and it wasn't melted. Wasn't anything to rave about, I warmed it when I got home and was ready to eat it.Parking: The parking was adequate in an open multi-use area.Kid-friendliness: Meals are available for the kidsWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs in the area which is easy for someone to roll a wheelchair right to the door“
“One of the best wing places in hoover. It was quiet, football game was playing on tv. The sauces were amazing for the wings. But definitely philly and gyro is also worth every penny. And they currently have this deal going on with catfish and porkchops. Will definitely be back.“
“I think there's a change in management because the wait time was shorter. It was nice to have a friendly face at the drive thru. Almost gave it a 5 star but inside is dark, hot, and dingy. The drive thru menu had a blinking bulb outParking: Blocked by delivery a lot.“
