Food wasn't like out of the ball park very pretty but didn't pack a punch I had the hickory brisket burger with the brussels they were hella crispy like flamethrower crispy like good morning Vietnam crispy. The house heffewiesn beer tastes like water but the duvel was amazing. The waitress was a gem hell of a good seller on food items and drinks she made the night pretty good. I will come again.

I am just not a fan of their food. It wasn't good at all. The waitress was excellent. We went there to eat and the hostess told us the other section in the corner was not open, but then when other customers came in behind us, not even a few minutes after us, she allowed them to sit in that section. We had 4 in our party, they had like six. Another couple with only 2 people came in and she let them sit in that section as well. She sit us in the center of the floor and it was very uncomfortable. The food is just not for me. The fries taste like fries out of a bag at Walmart and the chicken sandwich wasn't good. Seems like a lot of their pizzas and food is also too burnt. I again will say our waitress was excellent. She is very good at her job and was very nice and friendly to us. She ensured our drinks was filled and really made us feel good about going there to eat.

Ok! Well we have been coming here for several years from the Gulf Coast of MS. It was our “go to place” every time we came to Mobile! Now…no so much! My Sister & I went there today and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the vision of a person coming out of the same door in slippers & her belly hanging out, which may have been an employee? Besides that, the whole restaurant smelled like old rancid grease…we love sitting at the bar, so we sat down & had to wait for the bartender to finish delivering food to a table before we could order! We love Prosecco, so we both ordered a Prosecco, which they sell in the small bottles @ $10.95, which is basically one glass. We ordered the avacado egg rolls…which were fried in the rancid grease for $15.00 … CAN I JUST SAY OMG.. so our lunch ticket was $52.00 for 3 small bottles of LaMarca & an order of egg rolls fried in old rancid grease with the smell of old grease the whole time! Will not ever go back! It’s a sad day!

Got the blackened chicken this time which added a lot more flavor. However, I was missing the marinara sauce for the breadsticks and the weather was too bad to drive back.

First time at BJ's Brew House. Met some friends for lunch.I had the Philly cheese steak with fries. Sandwich was good, a bit small & pricey at about $18.I also had 2 pint pilsners. I should have asked the beer price first, as I was shocked at the price when I got my check. $9 each!I don't mind paying a bit more at a nice restaurant, but mine bucks! A sandwich and two beers were $38!I'll be going back to Baumhower's from now on.

My family and I drove in from Southwest Louisiana to stay in Mobile for the night on our way to our next destination. Out of all the places to eat, we chose this restaurant which turned out to be a mistake. Upon driving up in the parking lot, I noticed 4 employees hanging out in the front of the restaurant, on break I suppose. So I thought, maybe they are slow so hopefully we'll get good service. We were greeted immediately when we walked inside and quickly sat. That was the last enjoyable moment we had. We left over 10 minutes later due to no one even taking our drink order, coupled with the table right next to us having a small child crying inconsolably for the duration of our stay. I know the crying child isn't a reflection of the restaurant, but it didn't help. Meanwhile, there were 3 employees standing at the hostess table doing nothing but chatting amongst themselves. Not a good look.

Ordered tavern pizza & a mojito. The mojito was nothing but sugar & water. Too sweet to drink without going into diabetic coma (I'm not diabetic). Sent it back & 2nd one was better but still no liquor taste & too much sugar. Pizza was good. Guest ordered steak & it was good. We were never asked if we wanted water nor dessert. Service could have been better
