“Hands down best coffee shop in the south! I've been a d!e hard fan for over 4 years and I've recommended this place to my family, friends, in-laws, even strangers looking for coffee lol!! The coffee is always perfect and I've started letting the barista just surprise me because everything on the menu is delicious. It's cozy and relaxed, with indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a small shop of tea and coffee products and their lounge area always has fun little games. They also makes cakes! You can get it by the slice or whole and theyre huge! Oh, and they have crazy good sandwiches, hahaha it's never just a coffee run when we go to C's ♡♡♡”

“I was excited to try Slice after they won an award. We stopped for lunch on a lovely day and sat outside. It was confusing where we were supposed to go, since their name is on two buildings. The server was friendly and very busy, so we seated ourselves and she brought us menus after we had found the menu online.We ordered one basic salad, one margherita pie, and two slices - one pepperoni and one Old School (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and red onions).The salad was fantastic. 5/5, would go back just for the salad.The slices and pizza were OK- 3.5/5 for me. The sauce was very sweet on the margherita and almost nonexistent on the pepperoni or Old School. They use cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, and there was a lot of cornmeal. Given how incredibly thin yet soft the crust was, the amount of cornmeal was detracting to me, both in flavor and texture.I would make a special trip for the salad but not for the pizza.”

“I ordered takeout from the lunch menu on a Saturday. The food was good. My husband had garlic chicken, and i had Mongolian chicken . I wasn't aware i had to specify that i was ordering from the lunch menu, but the staff was very nice about it and changed my order.”

“Best place to eat when you're in a hurry don't have much time,food is excellent plenty of choices to choose from and it's one of my favorite places to eat lunch or breakfast or both because I'm working just down the road”

“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.”

“I was surprised at the nice selection of entrees and vegetables. Favorites such as chicken fingers, fries, and pizza were also available. Everything was seasoned well and had good flavor. There was a fresh fruit and salad bar that was of high quality. A few different dessert options were also available, so I sampled the peach cobbler parfait and oatmeal raisin cookies. Both were very tasty. There was a large selection of fountain drinks and juices. Everything was modern and clean and very comfortable. It was the best dining hall food I've ever had and was better than most buffets and cafeterias I've been too. UM students are fortunate to have such a great dining hall. I would go back in a minute.”

My husband and I go literally a dinner that could fill up 6 people with no problem at all for $22.. the workers are amazing and so kind. I recommend this over any other Mexican restaurant around shelby County...”

“A new dining experience in Montevallo! We've eaten here for a lunch and a dinner and both meals were well-prepared and quite tasty. Generous portions and a friendly wait staff. The environment is more up-scale than the other venues in town. Antique bar available for patrons and no TV's as a distraction. Highly recommend!”

“I am never disappointed when I eat here. The ladies are so friendly and the food is always delicious. We've eaten at this huddle house at least every couple weeks for a number of years now. They do get slammed, but the workers do everything they can and they deserve your patience, not your scorn, for wanting 5 take out orders for pancakes and bacon on Christmas day (see 1 star review for example) and getting pissy when it takes over 45 minutes when the restaurant is jammed full of customers inside. Entitled very much, are you?My favorite place for breakfast. ❤”

“Nice little place on Main Street in Montevallo, Alabama. The food was very good and chips were ok and the salsa was very good. The salsa is a little spicy for those that don’t like it spicy be prepared. I had the number 29 the steak had good flavor a little overcooked. The shrimps were perfect loved the seasoning. The refried beans were so amazing. Overall the atmosphere is nice and their drink selection is very nice.”

“I was so apprehensive about going tonight as I've gotten crappy food on top of crappy service at this location a few times... but my kids were persistent on KFC?️But tonight? ? Not only was the food absolutely delicious and FRESH ?... the young man who took our order had probably the best customer service I've seen at a drive thru in years to be honest. Definitely worth it.”

“Wow what a major improvement. Stopped by after not visiting for a while and noticed some amazing changes immediately. Staff was superb and moved with urgency. The new manager Jesse is doing a great job bringing this subway back to life. Food was great and service was again wonderful.”
