You know, this place is somewhere I grew up with. I still have wonderful memories of going to get a Chris' hamburger or hotdog for .50 cents.Chris' has stayed the same with regards to hotdogs and hamburgers and fortunately, the Chris' sauce recipe has never changed.If you're in town, stop by for a piece of Montgomery history and enjoy the delicious burgers or hotdogs-- or both if you choose. You won't regret it.Parking: You would need to use parking meters on Dexter Avenue.Kid-friendliness: Booths are still the same from the 80s. You can fit four people in a booth comfortably.

Crowded into a very narrow lobby, absolutely no direction of where to order (me and my colleagues waited at the register 10 minutes before seated and waited an additional amount of time just to order), one waitress was just walking up and down and passing out food whether it belonged to that person or not asking many people multiple times what they had ordered. This same waitress even reached over the counter to pull out change while register till was open with another worker in the middle of a transaction with a customer. Food was okay at best.

The chili *looked* disappointing, but i have NEVER had any chili better than this! Chris' hotdogs has been around for what seems like forever and the place shows it's age a bit. That being said, having not been back in almost 20yrs, I made a special trip for nostalgia's sake, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotdogs were every bit as good as I remembered. The staff were very friendly. I will be going back.
