Had a terrible experience at this placeon 7 May, 2022. Would give a zero if there was one! Went there with my family to celebrate Mother's Day. Ordered The prime ribeye steak, was the only one there when order was taken, waited 30 minutes for food. When food came out, we got pork chop instead of steak. Sent that back and it took another 15-20 minutes to get the steak. The rest of the family was through eating. When we received the steak it was a 16 oz with 8oz of fat. We told the server about our dissatisfaction, she told us she would see what management would do. She came back and told us they wouldn't do anything, she was sorry, but she already had to pay for the mistake she made on our order. I spoke with the manager and he said there was nothing he could do and that our conversation was over. This was the worst customer service EVER! The rest of the food was just fair. Don't waste your time on this place! The owner and management need to take lesson in customer service. They didn't seem to care about the customer's opinion. Don't waste your time or money!

This place was not what we thought! The name does not live up! We went here for a family Mother's day celebration! The food was just fair? we ordered A 16 oz steak and got a pork chop instead! We waited 30 minutes for our food even though no one else was there when we arrived! We finally got a 16oz ribeye steak after 45 minutes! When we did receive it it was 8oz of fat! We told our server we were not happy with the food and the cook on the steak, she said she would ask the management! She came back and told us she could not do anything and she would have to pay for the mistake she made with our order. I went in to talk with the manager. He said he could not do anything and our conversation was over! I would not recommend this restaurant! No customer service and we will not be back! Management was disgusting and food was terrible! Don't waste your money!

My wife and I went in and ordered potato skins 2 side salads and fish and chips. The potato skins are not potato skins the are sliced potatoes. They did taste good. The fish and chips, however, was nearly burned on the outside and still raw in the middle. The gentleman did offer to have them make another piece but we did not have time for them to do that as we had an event to get to. Also, why would I have them make another one that is just going to come out the same way. The table across from us had there meal come out in an aluminum throw away pan. I am not sure what they ordered but for this kind of establishment I feel like that is unacceptable.

Visited the IBP on a Saturday morning for lunch. We were one of three tables occupied. It took surprisingly long for our food to arrive (40 minutes for appetizer and 50 minutes for the entrees). Drink selections were surprisingly limited as well (lacked items still on their drink menu). We hoped the food would balance things out. It was plentiful and hot, but quite bland. Even the "blackened salmon" had barely any pepper. Perhaps their evening menu is better. Lunch was mediocre.

Terrible service. Came in when there were only 4 other customers. Waited while several staff passed by and no one asked what I needed. Finally flagged down the bartender and she said she'd check on my pick up order. 20 minutes pass, she walks by a few times, then comes over to immediately serve two customers who came in well after me. I asked if she could check my DoorDash order came through and she rolled her eyes, cut me off, and said "I'm gonna get to you in a minute, as you can see I'm busy here." At this point, there are a total of 7 customers and they've all already been served, except me. I get another employee and try to explain I just want to check that my DoorDash order was received and is being made, bartender rushes over and starts saying she already helped me, which wasn't true. She then gave my order to the cook and said their system is down so they didn't get any DoorDash. Finally get my food after waiting an hour, and then had to wait another 10 to get someone's attention so I could pay because they didn't bring a check with the food. There was clearly something wrong with their computer system, but no customers were complaining and there was no reason why the bartender or another employee couldn't have taken 30 seconds to fully listen to what I was saying so I didn't have to wait more than an hour. When I got the food the fish was so greasy it soaked through all the napkins they sent and the cheesecake was the driest I've ever had, so the food didn't even make up for the terrible service. Not surprised they had so few customers.

I don't know why this little pub gets such bad ratings but this place is great! It's in downtown small town Montgomery AL and has a great pub atmosphere. Came here with a large party and the waiter was very attentive and nice. We all got our drinks and food at great speed and everyone really enjoyed their meals. I got the Shepards Pie. I will say it came in a small foil tin pan which was a little off putting at first but boy was it tasty. Others in my party got the fish and chips, BBQ chicken, bangers and mash, and other Irish pub fare. Everyone's plates were completely clean by the end of the meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area and are looking for bar food/pub environment. 5 stars all around.

We went for lunch to celebrate Saint Paddy's Day! My husband got the corned beef and cabbage. It was bologna or something like that! It was canned meat and tasted awful! We were seated by the bar and this rather large man butt bumped my husband several times while he was ordering drinks! Not a nice experience. I ordered fish and chips! It was good but a much smaller serving than in years past! No cole slaw and only one piece of fish! We have been to Irish Bred Pub on several occasions pre COVID and it was so good!

Went with my wife and son b/c we usually like Irish restaurants. It has the appearance of what we'd think a pub would look like, but still the inside looked drab as if it had not been updated in many years. But the food was good. My wife had a Reuben sandwich, I had corned beef hash, and my son had fish n' chips. The sandwich was to me the best--plentiful and a good sauce. My son liked the fish, though the batter seemed bland to me (more beer in the batter?). My hash was a bit dull, but some of that is on me b/c the dish isn't meant to be flashy or terribly exciting. The corned beef though is usually chopped in crumbs basically, but they instead chopped up thin slices of corned beef, which was hard to eat (kept sliding on plate when I forked it), and did not give as much taste I think as the usual approach does. A somewhat limited choice of on-tap beers (maybe 8?) and even less with hard liquor (I saw 6 bottles). Service was slow at first, and the waitress was not really warm and friendly. She seemed to warm up some. If I were in the immediate area again and wanted a drink, I'd go back, though I think it's a better choice for just a beer.

I was working in Montgomery and called the restaurant to see if I could place a takeout order at 9pm (restaurant closed at 10pm). The lady that answered was very deliberate and told me no, the kitchen is already closed. I said “an hour before closing?” and she said yes. If this is typical of their customer service, then I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

First things first, do not be fooled. I arrived for dinner around 5pm. I had already viewed the menu prior and was looking forward to $5 app and specialty drinks. I will get back to "Happy Hour". I ordered the Blackened Salmon which is described as "Fresh Alaskan Salmon blackened with the perfect blend of seasonings. Served on a bed of fresh sautéed green beans with our freshly made Remoulade". There was nothing fresh about the Salmon nor was it blackened or seasoned. It was more like Walmart individually packed Salmon they warmed up and didn't even try to sear for the blackened flavor effect or season. Also, "on a bed of fresh sauteed green beens", to me "on a bed" means the salmon is placed on top of the green beans but that wasn't the case. The salmon and green beans were their own separate items. The Remoulade, was in a disposable "dressing" cup. The Remoulade was decent but should have been cooked with or drizzled on top of the Salmon. BLAND, BLAND BLAND is all I can say. Now back to the appetizer, I ordered mozzarella sticks because like I said earlier I looked at the menu prior and they were part of the $5 Happy Hour appetizers. Well when the check came, I was charged full price $8.49 (ridiculous price since they tasted like a bag of frozen mozzarella sticks again probably from Walmart). I asked the waitress and she said "no, we don't do that". I mean what do you mean you don't do that it was on their website. Her response is "I've told them they need to take it down". It blew my mind. I would have never ordered them if they were not part of the Happy Hour pricing. They obviously do not have a Happy Hour which makes complete sense because you will not be happy with anything when you leave, not the service, the food, the drinks or the atmosphere. It was not a pleasant experience and I will definitely not be back nor would I ever recommend the place.

I was passing through and like to stop at interesting sounding places. This one caught my fancy and I like Irish food and pub atmosphere. The corned beef and cabbage was fantastic with great flavor. The apple crisp was sweet and perfect combo of warm from the oven and coolness of the ice cream. The service was on top of it. Nice place.

It has a string mildew odor, enough to make me consider leaving. I went for the fish and chips. It was a huge portion of fish and though it was crispy on the outside it was overwhelmingly doughy on the inside. Perfectly mundane.
