This is the nicest Popeyes in the area - mostly because of the employees! Marquis waited on me & was so pleasant - they all were... sort of unexpected in most other restaurants! ?
Something was wrong here. The food was absolutely horrible tasting. It was large portions (which was nice), but either the cooking oil or breading/crust was very nasty tasting. I was already too far away from the restaurant to return it. I ended up throwing most of it out. I didn't want to end up sick later on.To the restaurant manager:Change the cooking oil brand or replace it for possibly exceeding the re-use frequency or change brand. These folks were super friendly and the young lady there was kind enough to explain to me that I'd get a better deal as I was trying to make up my mind as I was telling her what I wanted. Then my family was pleased with the flavor the chicken wasn't under or over fried. The slaw i didn't like but that's okay ...I'm happy with this place.Ps and the strawberry biscuits were added as a surprise and delish... Thanks again
