“I've been eating here since I was born. Worked here through college. Live a long way away now, but I eat here every time I come home, and it's still the best BBQ anywhere, and I've eaten BBQ all over the country. Chuck's is the best. Doing a great job Jody.“

“I came into the restaurant on 4/20/24!! My server was excellent she was so sweet and brought everything to us on time, never even had to ask for a refil! But the manager Ethan is horrible! I had to ask the host for his name on our way out of the door! And I saw he's horrible because I heard him be rude with a few of your employees, the way that I could hear him talking to them was just unacceptable in my eyes! We sat on the bar side at the big booth! I don't know if he means it or not but from what my family and I heard it sounds deliberate! I heard one employee ask him "can you please help" and he said can you ask nice..I was just so undone it almost makes me not want to come back!! I could him yelling and different people the whole time we were there!!!“
“I’m not usually one to care for chain bbq joints, but this place was really good. And the people were extremely friendly and inviting. Mr. John was very helpful as well. Everyone we had interaction with was great. We will definitely put this on our list of regular spots for when we are in the Oplelika area.“
“Cookout is a great value, they have package deals that you can eat every day that have a great price. Had a hamburger that was excellent. The corn dogs are really good love their hush puppies french fries were hot and great. Overall a good meal for a great price.“
“Update on the update: The owners were retiring so they sold the business to the same guys who own Baumhower's Victory Grill. Looks like the regulars have kept coming because the place is pretty packed for lunch. As far as I can tell from a single plate of barbecue it hasn't changed all that much. Fried potatoes are still golden fried deliciousness and you just can't beat their cornbread. I did notice from their posted hours that they close right after lunch so don't expect any barbecue for dinner. I was worried this great Auburn eatery was facing the same fate as Price's Barbecue House and being bulldozed to build another student housing complex. Thankfully that is not the case.“
“Bow & Arrow Restaurant in Auburn, AL is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have always had a delightful experience and the food is abolutely delicious. Bow & Arrow serves up an assortment of smoked meats that can be enjoyed on their own with an array of traditional southern and tex mex sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens, borracho beans, and sweet corn rice. The menu also includes enchiladas, fajitas, tacos as well as a brand new cocktail menu featuring twenty-six new libations, with of course, margaritas! I had the BBQ sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious and my server was very friendly and was attune to my needs.“
“This is a walk up and order establishment. The smoked wings with the white sauce are amazing. Outdoor seating is abundant. Aside from the BBQ pork and ribs they also have smoked turkey, smoked chicken, shrimp and catfish. The tea on several occasions has not tasted right. Not sure if it was because the only time we go is dinner or just the person making it.“
“It was my first experience with KPOT today and WOW. I had no idea what I was in store for as I had never been to a restaurant like this before. The staff was so friendly and helped me look like I knew what I was doing. The choices for food were expansive and delicious. GO THERE NOW YOU WON'T BE SORRY.“
