This place is not popular enough, it's on the beautiful coosa river, and you can eat out side in the spring or summer. The ribblets is falling off the bones when you eat it, they are best in town.. you can get Nachos every thing on it for only $5.00. They serve vegetarian meals, and bbq, Ilook at the menu, they have alot.. you can even buy beer in a cooler. Very friendly. If you have not went here, you are missing one one the best places to eat.. and the prices are good...

Found this place while doing some research prior to a trip from Huntsville to Talladega GP raceway. Stopped in Saturday morning just after they opened. I opted for the chicken plate (with red sauce) with beans and slaw. First observation, the price of my meal and drink were WELL WORTH the portion size! Definitely bang for the buck! The chicken was very moist, not overly smoky and a generous, but not overwhelming amount of bbq sauce. The beans were delicious and the vinegar-based slaw had just the right amount of tang with crispy cabbage. The young lady working the counter was very pleasant and personable. If it were warmer, I definitely would've opted for a seat on the patio.I will definitely stop back in on my next trip through Rainbow City. Good stuff!!

Very good food. Wife had BBQ pork sandwich and slaw. I had the smoked turkey plate with slaw and potatoe salad. Everything was very good. Highly recommend it all.

If you like flavorless, mushy bbq pork nachos go here!Dined in today and those nachos were nothing like what I had in mind. Coming from a family that loves to bbq, we would never serve mushy pork like that. Ewe. Wish I had taken pictures but more than half ended up in their trash. I was able to salvage some chips by scrapping off some of that mush, and ate those with pico and salsa. I will say if you like to eat bland flavorless mushy pork on white corn chips, the serving portion was huge.
