Reefer delivery. Take 21 to 4th street to industry. Entrance off industry. Call number posted at gate and follow easy and clear instructions. Nice people and ice cream inside. There is a small gravel lot next to the gate and someone was parked there so I assume it’s ok.

You look thru glass on the second floor and see the assembly line. You can get a big 2 scoop ice cream bowl for a dollar, no tax, just a dollar.

We took our out of town guests here for a day trip. The entire property is nicely maintained, the representatives were all friendly and professional. The best part was sampling a variety of flavors, for a $1 a scoop! Great way to spend an afternoon and learn a little about a Texas icon in the process.
Just go! What can you say bad about watching them make ice cream and then sitting in the ice cream parlor and eating a large cup of your choice of about a dozen flavors for $1. It was delicious. I tried the Southern blackberry cobbler and several tried pecan praline and cream. Delicious!Kid-friendliness: They get to watch them make and pack the ice cream and then you get to sit down and eat a big bowl of your favorite flavor for $1. Or two bowls if you want.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible restrooms and elevators and open space to move around.
