My favorite restaurant in my town! The people know you by name and the food is cooked fresh to order! They are always so nice and friendly to everyone. The setting is old school and I love it!
FIRST OF ALL ,BOOKERS IS OWNED AND OPERATED WELL, BY PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY LOVE THE COMMUNITY, AS WELL AS, PROVIDING DELICIOUS HOME COOKED FOOD. They have in house entertainment, certain days of the week, which can be found on their Facebook/Meta page. Bread pudding is scrumptious. I’m picky. I tried Bookers and I instantly fell in love! I had hamburger steak, fried green tomatoes, cabbage and sweet tea. Every bite was delicious. The staff are SUPER and prompt. Worth every penny. I will return and be a regular!
