The staff was great and the food was amazing. Some of the best hibachi I have had. I came from out of town and enjoyed every single bite! Nice view to sit outside and eat as well

Samurai is hands down the best and freshest sushi in the Birmingham area. It took me almost 6 years after moving here to find it, but I'm forever a fan now! The Crazy Tuna Roll is amazing and the seaweed salad is such a great portion. Not to mention, their service is top notch. Always so friendly!

Great Service! Very attentive! Brought us ice cream sandwiches on the house( we where a big group). Very accommodating and they remembered us. Made us feel very welcome and special! Great food, and a lot of variety! Sushi is king!

Samauri Japan was our last stop for my gf's birthday celebration. The restaraunt is cute and has seating both inside and outside. Our server had so much personality. She was the kind of individual that just makes you happy being in her presence. I believe her name was Veronica. For starters we ordered the clear soup and ginger salad. It's hard to go wrong with the classics. Both were good. For our meal, we ordered the Hot Mama Roll and the Cajun Fire Roll. Both rolls were plated beautifully. The Hot Mama Roll was okay, but had too much cream cheese for my taste. The overall flavor profile was good though. Now the Cajun Fire Roll is a roll I could order a thousand times. It has a nice amount of heat/spice to it so do not order if you aren't a fan on spice. I'll certainly be back to try out some other rolls and dishes. I really enjoyed the vibe here and the food quality was great for what we ordered.

Ordered mainly crab rolls which came out tasting like half shredded tuna from the packs you get at the store. Also it was mixed with some kind of mayo. Not the best tasting. My husband spent the night barfing it all back up. Staff was great, food was not.
This has became our favorite place to eat!! The staff is very friendly. I've been there 3 times and they have recognized me on both my 2nd and 3rd visit, with my mask on. Our server even remembered my kids food selection and their drink order. I think the only reason I wouldn't be this next Saturday is because I have to work.:-( I can't wait until my next visit!

I ordered this location through Door Dash. My food was prepared and delivered in a timely manner. My dasher was wearing a mask and found my place very easily. However, I was not given any silverware. Which is normally okay, but I was at work with no spoon or fork. I ordered the lunch special and it was about $11 for sushi, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, salad, and soup. The food was pretty good, I would try something different next time for sure. They have good lunch prices so I defiantly recommend going and checking this place out!
