“Los Mayas was very busy when I walked in on a Friday evening at 6:30. Regardless, they seated me right away! I took about 3 minutes to find something on the menu and they came over to bring my drink and take my order. The food came out in about 10 minutes maybe and was freshly made and tasted good. The server checked in on me twice during my 30 minutes stay and without asking, brought me a to go cup with a refill of my drink. For me, that was awesome because I really did want another drink but I was leaving so I didn’t ask… my overall experience was on par with what a may expect. The to go drink was over the top and the quick seating was over the top for me.“
“Servers attentive and nice. Restaurant overall clean and well kept. I ordered basic enchiladas that came out hot and fast. Salsa was okay, nothing special. Margaritas good. The prices were a little more than what I'm use to at a Mexican restaurant, but I guess with the cost of everything else today. Would I go here again, sure, but I'll be eating at others down the road to compare. Overall, comparable Mexican to most others in the southern states.“
“I had the chili which was delicious. Traditional Mexican chili, not Texas style. Chunks of beef, not ground, and no tomato or beans. Nicely spicy without being overly hot. Also had the steak fajitas which were good, but not especially memorable. Had the house made hot salsa which was very flavorful on the fajitas. The service was excellent and I had an overall enjoyable experience.“
“This is one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in Montgomery. They have authentic food and a great wait staff. My favorite thing to eat on a cool day is their Sopa de Pollo (Chicken soup). Be cautioned, all their food is served with a large portion of meat.“
