“This by far is one of the Best Captain D's I've eaten at. My well done grilled fish was cooked perfect. Sweet tea was delicious. Employees were on task, working, Very friendly. Can't say enough about how great this lunch was!“
“This place is a small but good place to eat! It’s really easy to pass when driving by but definitely a place you should stop! My husband and i have been passing this place for years and decided to stop on a Friday night and eat here. It was pretty busy around 7pm. This place has a lot of regulars from what i can tell. The server was on her first day and did pretty good! I started out with a side salad. The onions, and tomatoes were so yummy and fresh. The tomatoes were sweet and the dressings were delicious! My husband got the seafood platter that had a little bit of everything. His favorite were the jumbo shrimp. I got the shrimp platter with fried okra and coleslaw. The Cole slaw was not my favorite but everything else was really good, including their sauces. My husband loves the cocktail sauce and i enjoyed the tartar sauce. For the amount of food and quality of food, it’s definitely worth it! I believe they had an outside deck for people to sit on and possibly live music. We both recommended this place to our family and friends and will be back soon with everyone!“
“Locally owned and operated neat lil diner. Nice ambiance , prompt and courteous staff, really good food. Owner checked on us several times and was very sweet / conscientious. Had the meat and three , just like Grandma used to make !! Definitely going back , often. Really close to Lake Jordan ( view close) so that's a bonus, especially when enjoying the lake.“
“We were welcomed walking in, order taken by a polite and knowledgeable cashier who also brought us our desserts, had banana pudding and carrot cake (my husband’s favorite cake and one of the best we have found around) and a very good dinner. I had the salmon and my husband had the bacon cheese burger. Both our meals were wonderful, the staff was very attentive and the managers both checked on us and were friendly and helpful. All customers were told thank you for dining with them, have a nice night and come back. Jennifer was one of the managers on duty and we appreciated how nice and attentive she was. We have visited this location several times and have never had a bad experience. Thank you for coming to Wetumpka!“
