Ah, Scooters Coffee – where the beans are roasted to perfection and the drive-thru line moves with the efficiency of a well-oiled espresso machine. It's hands down my favorite place to grab a coffee in Batesville; their lattes are like a warm hug in a cup, assuming hugs came with a caffeine kick.

That said, it's not exactly my top pick for getting a drink in Batesville. But if coffee's what you're after? Absolutely recommend it. Solid 4.5 stars.”

“When people are real friendly and nice that work there it's good Mexican food that they cook it's not garbage like some of the other Mexican food places it's nice to go somewhere where I can get my haircut and eat dinner or whatever I want and buy food too”

“My husband and I stopped by Fox Creek BBQ for lunch yesterday. We’re not from Batesville so we didn’t know where to go, but BBQ sounded good. I mapped restaurants nearby and this one was a couple of blocks from where we were so we gave it a try. We were immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. The staff were pleasant and our sweet little waitress did an excellent job on her first day there! We were also fortunate to meet the owner who gave us a bit of history about the building, it originally being the old train depot, as well as his background in barbecue competitions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal of barbecued pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and fried pickles. That was hands down the best barbecue we’ve had in many years!! It’s definitely worth the drive. We’ll be back!”

Not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Serve right away. Food was quite delicious. Cheese dip was tasty.
I’m loving the sizes of the margaritas. Large and medium. I believe they were pre-made but they were delicious and refreshing.

I Gave a 4 because of the nickel and dime charges. We were charged .2 for water. .75 for the cheese dip where we bought cheese dip for $5.50 and AB tax? $3.50?
Overall pretty good experience.”
