Outstanding food and service. Old fashioned drive-in style burgers. Great conversations with local “regulars” and the owner. Be sure to try a fried pie but give them a few minutes because they fry each one fresh to order! Place was obviously loved by both customers and staff and it makes a difference in the quality.
The food was decent, not super great, but not bad, we got shakes but weren't impressed, they didn't have a whole lot of flavor, the fries and tater tots were good though, the service was really good, it's a nice place, maybe a bit on the expensive side for the quality of the food.

I love the Dairy Diner.I moved from a place that had a favored diner, and was worried Charleston couldn't deliver. Until I saw the Dairy Diner open one day.I go often, even if only for the fried pickles sometimes. Their chicken basket is my absolute favorite, with their homemade ranch that is amazing.
