We decided to give this place a shot since it's right on the water. The food is not great. The prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The service is very slow. We were seated outside on the patio by the hostess and waited 20+ minutes for someone to ask if we'd been helped yet. That guy then went to get a different a server that took another 10 minutes for him to come get our drink order. With the prices on the menu, I was expecting some top quality food. I've traveled to and ate at many different places and for the price of the steak I was expecting wagyu. Instead, we got 1/2 inch (if that) cut of meat that hadn't even been seared or charred correctly. It wasn't seasoned and had grissles, too. You'd be better off going to Texas Roadhouse if you want steak. It's cheaper and better quality.

I love steak and my husband loves seafood and this is our go to place. You will not find a better steak anywhere close than Back Porch Grill. They even cater to my very picky 3 year old. This is our #1 go to place and a MUST try!! Not only is the food amazing the atmosphere and view is just as good and so is the service! You will not be disappointed eating here!!

Loved the food and the atmosphere. The grill out in the dining area gave it a kind of rustic feel to me which I loved. The staff was amazing and really seem to care about the diner's experience. I will definitely be back.
I’ve never had a finer dining experience, my server was professional and checked on us serval throughout the night. The steaks are always cooked right! I can’t get enough of this place, I recommend it to all of my friends.

This is MY honest opinion. We were taken all the way trough the restaurant to a corner table with silverware and napkins on the floor, we sat down and the table was dirty- the hostess then took us on another walk around the restaurant. We ordered as an appetizer the Parmesan Garlic Shrimp. The shrimp were horrible, the strong garlic and Parmesan could not even mask the “fishyness” of the shrimp, they may have been on the edge of expiration. The “salads” that came with the meal were obviously premade and stacked on top of each other in the fridge since the salad was super compacted and existed of lettuce, crutons a couple of sprinkles of cheese and one dried up cherry tomato. My baked potato was good. The steaks were cooked correctly with a nice flavor. The green beans were lacking flavor. The biggest issue I had with the whole experience was our waiter. He didn’t know the menu, at all. No personality. He brought the wrong drinks by accident. We asked for straws at least 3 times, we finally caught a bus boy and got some. He had brought one extra Coke, that he left on the table for “later”, no refills were offered. We had ordered one beer. I had to ask for another after having the empty one on the table for half of the dinner. When he brought our ticket he actually smiled for the first time. We were not asked about our meal or why we had left over half of the food on our plates. Our table was visited a total of 4 times by the waiter including taking order dropping off the appetizer our entree and the check.We were there around 1.5 hr, it was not rush hour. We did get a to go box for our dog. ?3 steaks, 2 beer, 2 soft drinks and the shrimp appetizer $216. I had really been anticipating trying this place. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience, this was just mine.

Beautiful view of the lake while dining inside or outside. Tender juicy steaks cooked over an open grill right out in the open for everyone to be able to watch. Amazing food and service! Definitely will recommend to others and be back to try more things!
