Hot Springs National Park Reviews
The National Park is truly remarkable, and the preservation of the bathhouses is a testament to the great job they have done. I highly recommend taking a tour with a ranger through the bathhouse to fully appreciate its rich history. It is fascinating to learn that Andrew Jackson created a reserve in the early 1800s to protect this incredible site.
Such a fascinating national park! You would usually think of national parks as being based around natural beauty, and while that’s present here, the park is based around a historic spa town. There are hiking trails which our family enjoyed as well as a fairly touristy stretch of restaurants, shops, bathhouses and hotels on the main street of the town of Hot Springs. Definitely a nice day out.Picnic area: Picnic tables were near the observation tower.

Beautiful little gem. Loved the history of bathhouse row and the ease of walking around the historic district. The people were friendly and made you feel welcome. The hiking trails were top notch.. The only negative is the long and winding roads to get there. Or maybe it was the fact of driving a Rv on these mountain roads that frayed my nerves.Dog-friendliness: Dogs everywhere and I loved it.
