If you're planning to eat lunch at Cafe 1217, plan to get there early. This is a favorite of many people in Hot Springs, and the ordering line gets long around noon. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with chips, and my friend ordered the Reuben and rice. It was delicious, but next time I will ask for a little more dressing on the side. And I will be going back soon.

My Mom, Sister and I, enjoyed this little café. Food was pretty delicious and the atmosphere was quaint. They were busy, so service was straight to the point. A little on the pricey side, but we'll most likely be back.

Visiting Hot Springs, we decided to try this place based on the Yelp reviews...and boy am I glad we did! Been eating on the road for a few days, so I really, really wanted a nice, big, fresh salad. This is their version of a chicken caesar salad...it's like a mountain of crunchy greens with protein. The dressing was perfect (served on the side) and not overwhelming. When I told our server I really wanted something with a lot of greens in it, she just told the chef, "Put a lot of extra greens on the caesar!"...Love it!

We came in from out of town and got there within 20 minutes of closing. They prepared our food, were very hospitable, and made sure we didn't want to order dessert before they closed out the pastry case for the evening. The food was excellent and we will be back!

One of the best places to eat in Hot Springs. Deli-style food and baked goods from scratch. I do not miss it when I come to town. It was a regular place for lunch or take-out when I lived there. The greek salad is the best I’ve had. It is one of the few places with vegetarian options if that is what you desire. My favorite staple besides the salad is their rueben sandwich. The fruit plate is always top-notch. Love their Caesar sliders! You can’t go wrong here. Lots to choose from. And don’t get me started on the awesome desserts! If you’re on the fence about eating there, don’t be. Just go. It will be better than anywhere else you may choose.
