“We've been looking for a go-to Mexican restaurant since we moved back to Jonesboro two years ago. My husband had never been to El Acapulco until yesterday, and he was impressed. The food was great and our server was very attentive. We'll definitely be going back.“

“We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

“There was a brief period of time a few years back that I would've rated them much lower. They've improved and gotten the menu and service back to the way it was when they first opened. Only mark against them is that it feels like a bar that is recovering from a bad time - a little wobbly and a bit too "lived in." But don't let that stop you from going. The food and service were on point.“

“Had a good meal. We Were there for my brother's girlfriend's birthday. The cook was pretty funny and interacted with everyone. He did a good job with everyone's meal.So apparently the new thing is adding the tip to the ticket now. They added the tip and totaled it. So because of this, this is what he only got. I was going to tip more cause he did an awesome job but I don't like being told or forced to tip. So due to his employer he missed out. I always tip good and usually more if the service was good.“

Called to check in for a curbside pickup, waited in my car for 10 minutes, then decided to go into the restaurant to find out what was wrong. I saw no customers (they weren't busy) and the employee who greeted me said she had no idea I was out there. Guess whoever I spoke to on the phone didn't pass on the information?“

“Overall, it was a good experience. I'm used to more of a "show" at these types of places, but this one was lackluster. Aside from him lighting the grill, there was no interaction between the chef and guests. I did witness another chef putting on a show, though, so maybe we just got an "off" chef. Our service was also a bit slow, my cup was empty most of the meal. The food was delicious and the portions were big.“

“Best BBQ in NEA, hands down. Moist, tender meats, delicious baked beans, slaw, and potato salad. And you can't beat the fried pies or friendly service. Every time I go back home I have to stop in, because the vinegar style North Carolina bbq sucks (just saying), and I crave good bbq from back home. If you're familiar with Whole Hog in Little Rock, Demo's is comparable. It hits the spot and I look forward to seeing my buddies there who treat me right when I'm in town!“

“The green beans were sweet and cold the baked potato was cold and I asked for a loaded potato and all they put on it was cheese and no butter. The steak was the Only thing that was prepared right. I was sick and throwing up by the time we made it home. Don't know if we will be coming back or not.“

“Food was absolutely wonderful. Went with two coworkers for lunch and the only downside was that it took over an hour to recieve food as it was fairly packed. Only downside to the atmosphere is that is was extremely loud inside with everyone. Had to yell at the table to be heard the entire time.“

“This is our hometown Italian spot. It is family owned and operated and the service is always impeccable. I would highly recommend trying this if you are staying in Jonesboro. The food is some of the best Italian I've had anywhere ... specifically their secret recipe Cesar Salad. We also quite enjoy their freshly baked bread and their Chicken parmesan.Kid-friendliness: Children are more than welcomed, they are embraced. I can remember taking our daughters here when they were small. The table cloths are for coloring, they have little ducks planted everywhere for some fun eye spy and the staff are super sweet to the kiddos.“
