We have been here occasionally for years, and the service has always been cheerful and efficient, the food very good, and the atmosphere lively with conversation.Some might be intimidated by the "serious" moniker, but I think it conveys that the quality is important.We recently got some takeout food, and the sandwiches were packed in lovely paper boxes with the sides and some waxed paper making it easy to eat on the go. The best chicken Caesar salad I've ever had. And I've had a lot of them. Everything is fresh. Chicken was moist and tinder. The dressing was delicious. So good highly recommend.

I was in at very busy lunch hour, but a woman stàff member was very kind to go over menu questions with me, as it was only my second there.I had Tuna salad plate with fruit & twice baked potato. Also Pecan square for dessert. The soup in my photo was mine from home. Everything from Jimmy's was delicious!
