Picked up a cake today at 1pm. Returned the cake at 2:30. The cake was dry, dense and was kind of stale tasting. Was told by the manager it was because I ordered the white cake instead of the white cake with almond extract. What???? The cake had the texture of cornbread! Never again will I order a cake from the place! What a way to ruin a birthday!

They will have all my business from now on. Not only are their cakes delicious, but there customer service is top notch!
Mickey's Cakes was more than amazing!! My last experience was a Bridal Shower cake for my daughter and they definitely exceeded our expectations! The staff was wonderful to work with, and especially Jasmine who went above and beyond to read my mind on the cake design that I envisioned. Their team is so professional and helpful. Last but not least, the cake was so exquisite and delicious!

I ordered a cake the day before I needed it. I asked them would they be able to do so and they said yes. They said my cake would be ready at 3:00 pm I went to pick up my cake at 3:30 and the cake wasn't ready. That wasn't an issue so I waited until it was done. They showed me the cake before I left and the cake looked fine. I sat the cake on the floor of my car as they suggested. When I got home the icing or fondant had drooped downwards from the cake where the name was on the front of the cake. It was almost like it was nothing there the bond the two together. I called and spoke with a few people the lady ask me to send a picture with i did she said I could bring it back and they would fix it and I told her and this point I couldn't bring the cake back because I needed it and asked if they could compensate me and she started saying all this different things about the weather could have made this happen and got very defensive when I the customer was just letting her know what I was experiencing with the cake I had. My personal opinion is the cake was rushed we couldn't even eat the top of the cake because it was a picture that was printed and placed on some kind of plastic. Spending that mush money on a cake and to end up with what I had was very frustrating. Once they show you the cake and you leave the store that's it. I did not get a refund of any sort, we were going back and forth my family was in the background telling me just to leave it alone so I ended the call. I could have brought a cake from Sam's printed a picture myself and put it on the cake and saved myself some money. I was looking at the reviews before I called this place and they have more good reviews than negative so I decided to go to them. However my experience with them was not a good one I will not be back here and if I know anyone in my circle who are thinking of going here I will tell them not to.

You have to go in to speak to someone because no one hardly answers the phone anymore everything is assumed to be done or answered through the website. The only reason the name says JANICE LEWIS is because you have to have a google act to leave a review and I have at&t email not a gmail. Which further shows the lack of concern and how the business is now being ran. Instead of you simply asking for my contact info, you decided to assume and it is almost like your trying to discredit me actually being a loyal customer of 20 years. Never had any issues with any of my orders until this year. Not only do I purchase cakes for all my intermediate family birthdays every year, also get cakes for job parties and certain holidays. I have had several issues since the change has taken place such as drooping icing on cakes, name being left off the cake, got a yellow cake instead of white, the freshness of the cake and the taste of the cake has changed. I did not notice most of the issues until right before the cake is ready to be placed or cut, most events fall on weekends and the moment is ruined. You are closed on Mondays which by that time it is what it is. I have tried contacting about the issues but no answer or call back, and I also have said something at the next order. So I decided to just leave a review, because people need to know this not the same quality or customer service.I do not want anything but for you guys to do better and to not ruin the Mickey's Name!

Absolutely Amazing!! Mr. Willie and Mrs. Sandra have an unspoken special talent when it comes to cakes! For my wedding, they crafted two gorgeous cakes that not only looked elegant and fabulous, but they tasted fantastic! The amount of detail that was put into these cakes is mind-blowing and every inch was made with love and it definitely showed. Let me just say "WOW", the groom's cake was beyond what I had imagined. I provided Mrs. Sandra with only a picture and she and Mr. Willie made my vision come to life! I can't thank you enough for making our day even that much more special!
