“One of the better experiences I've had in a while. I've grown pretty tired of seeing menus with things like mashed potatoes with gochujang, or croque madams with chili crispy on top...so I was happy to see western flavors in dumplings, etc.Cocktails were amazing. Great flavors, well balanced. Their take on an old fashioned with pandan really stood out.As for the food, didn't try any noodles, but everything else we had was very satisfying.“
“Me and my Fiancé went here yesterday for some mid day drinks and to rest our legs from walking around town. We sat at the bar and mr. GRANT was so amiable and took great care of us!! He had great cocktail recommendations and was very inviting. The lovely ladies at the coffee bar were also very kind!! It was a wonderful experience in a cute/eclectically decorated space!! Definitely coming back!!“
“Such a fun place! This is really the OG brewery in Memphis, with their history starting in Bosco's in Overton Square. Ghost River extends that history with a wide variety of brews that always remain stubbornly drinkable, more focused on flavor than trying to make a statement.“
“Love the atmosphere here and the black and white in the background was just a cherry on top. Started with salads and they did not disappoint. I could have definitely gone for a half of a Waldorf, but they don't half it. The grilled cheese was perfection though. Crispy outside and the parm fries paired perfectly. The desert flight sparked great convo with the winner being the carrot cake. That icing is made of winter dreams! The staff is very friendly and attentive. What a great choice for date night!“
“The Whistle Stop was the pizza I've ever had! Definitely "different" from traditional pizza, but so delicious! Great selection of beer; friendly staff; numerous indoor and outdoor seating options. Other reviewers had raved about the soft serve ice cream, but they were all out, so I didn't get to try that.“
“Cara and Ashley game me the best service! I didn’t expect it and it’s my first time coming. Love the place and atmosphere. I will be definitely coming back and will be bring others. I now have a late night downtown spot to eat!!! So excited!!!!!!“
“This cute shop nestled inside Hustle and Dough is pet-friendly! I saw quite a few well behaved pooches lounging comfortably at the feet of their owners. The layout is living room-esque with lots of seating options for single, duo, or friend groups to gather. The lady at the counter recommended the Bourbon mocha and helped me customize with Oat milk since aim dairy free. It was HEAVENLY! The mocha was mixed with a slight spice and the sweet warmth that just slid down my throat to warm my belly. I enjoyed it thoroughly and can’t recommend enough.“
“If you want good smooth espresso coffee this is the place. I got myself a salted caramel latte and I can definitely taste the espresso. It doesn't leave a bad after taste in your mouth and doesn't taste burnt. I like sweet, but I like my coffee too. It's got to compliment each other and this is it.“
“Fun place. Went there with a group of people. Very large selection of beers. Pizza was very good. They have a bunch of interesting pizzas. Even though we went around 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday, the service was still fast. We were luckily able to get a table. Seemed like there was a variety of people there from the young crowd, families with babies, and an older crowd. Great gathering place. I'd recommend if you're looking for a place to go for pizza and beer.“
“Got a Kyiv Mule, which is roughly an egg white Moscow mule. I think it's a great idea. Was kinda expecting a high ball Ramos gin fizz style but the coupe was fine. Dehydrated floating lime wedge garnish was a phenomenal idea for balancing any potential egg white off smells. Probably could benefit from a dry shake first and and double strain(it was a single wet shake with a single strain). Tasted great, except the foam n feel was less rich and more bubbly(via no dry shake), and there were ice chips(some people like this though). It was $13, tax included, plus tip. Little exp imo for no dry shake and 2x strain, but still cool and not worth me slapping only ⭐⭐⭐⭐ only to hurt a place's rating.Besides the drink critique, bartender was friendly and timely. It's kinda dark in there, and sometimes music a little loud for me, but you can't make everyone happy ?♂️ I'm lame.Anyway, def worth a visit, probably worth more than 1 ?“
“This is a solid spot with a varied menu for the area. In addition to standard pub fare, there are many options, including vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely stop by here again if I was in Memphis. I wish they had a non-alcoholic drink menu (mocktails) or non-alcoholic beer.“
“Like a Sunday afternoon in your best friend's back yard. Be sure to catch the Grassfire Bluegrass band live. We saw them on Sunday (11-3). Smoked turkey wings, cold draft beer, lots of space indoors and out. Authentic historic vibe in the converted locksmith and converted carriage house located in 4 acres. Staff was friendly but I put only 4 stars for service because it's self-service. No table service.“
“Delicious foods mouth watering drinks. We order the Memphis pizza garlic knots. While you wait on your foods, my children played with pizza dough until the foods arrive. How cool!!!Kid-friendliness: Children play with pizza dough to keep business“
“Went the other night for the first time. Service was great. Didn't have Fernet nor Green Chartreuse at the time. Cool space. Bartender almost lost my card, but didn't, lol. Nothing on the cocktail menu jumped out at me so I just asked for the yellow Chartreuse they had on hand. Nice outside seating.Oh and somewhere it said automatic gratuity, and I noticed it wasn't actually automatic, so I was pleasantly surprised.“
“Definitely a must have if your looking for a fast and delicious meal. We were passing through West Memphis and looking for a quick bite to eat when we found this Mexican food truck. We had to call to verify the address as the one on the maps was not the correct address (at least for this day) The person who answered the phone said on Mondays they have a different location and sent me to 1600 N Missouri St which is located about 8 minutes down the road in a local church parking lot. We’re glad we decided to drive the extra 8 minutes and give them a try. We loved the quesabirria with its spicy red sauce. Also ordered a Torta, tacos, and flautas which were all delicious. Definitely recommend and will be glad to stop here again when passing by Memphis.“
